I'm glad you like it! Although any yarn can be used, I suggest go for mercerized cotton (double pull) to make it even more sturdy and a bit stiffed.

The height usually measures 4 inches. So if your number of rows reaches 4 inches that's when you finish off.

do you have a written pattern that elaborates more on what you used and how much material is needed?

Maybe it's your tension, it maybe too loose. Could also be that the size of your hook does not match the size of yarn. ❤️

Usually, I based my hook on the size of the yarn. It is also best to use inline hook to avoid slipping.

Hi! The size of the hook depends on the yarn you're going to use. For this one, I used 2.5 mm to a lanalon yarn (fingering weight)
