I have seen and made several towel toppers. This is the first one that I've seen where you "envelop" the towel with a front and back row of crochet. That's a great idea. Thanks for the tips and the demonstration.

Oh wow!! This is fantastic Judy! I've never seen tea-towel toppers done with the sewn start & then the envelope for a few rows! That's an awesome way of doing it & much simpler than the versions I've tried before with fine crochet hooks piercing the tea-towel for the first row! I gave up doing them as it was tedious that way!
