    One question. How come you start of the corners with 3 dc’s ch2 3dc’s and the next round you change them to 2dc’s ch2 2dc’s? Just curious as I’m using your tutorials to make squares for charity. I normally don’t do much with granny squares because, when I learned as a child, that’s all we did! I just made one using your tutorial, changing colors. It came out gorgeous! I hate to part with it, lol!💞

    Thank you for this video. I just have a question, if in the corners we work 2 dc and ch 2, than why in the last corner of each row we only work one ch? Thank you 😊

  • @SecretYarnery

    @SecretYarnery

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi, Doina D!! at the end of the row the single crochet counts as a chain stitch - so two stitches per corner - no matter what they are. Hope that helps? Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼

    Did you ever do a tutorial for the No twist solid granny blanket?

  • @mariafortunato8015
    @mariafortunato80152 жыл бұрын

    Hi. I've tried several times and I feel like I am making a mistake at the beginning that's affecting the end of the first row. When you join the last 3 dc, it looks like you are going into the top of the first dc. But when I do it, there is a separation between the first double crochet and the other two so it looks awkward. Yours does not look that way. I hope you see this (it's July 31, 2022) and can help me. Thanks for the great video

  • @SecretYarnery

    @SecretYarnery

    Жыл бұрын

    Hi, Maria Fortunato!! I join into the top of the chain 3 - with two strands of the chain on the top part of my hook. Does that help? If joining is where you are going wrong, check out this more recent tutorial here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/faKjyq-og822e6w.html It's for a regular granny square, but the join is the same. Hope that helps! 🌻🌺🌼
