Written pattern Row 1: make a magic loop Chain 2 Next make 9 double crochets in the magic circle. Next close the circle. Next make a slip stich in the hole of first double crochet. You should have 10 Stiches after the slip stich. Row 2: Chain 2 Make 2 double crochets in each stich . The chain 2 doesn’t count as a stich in the beginning so make sure to place 2 double crochets in the first stich. At the end of the row you should place only one double crochet in the last stitch because here the chain 2 is the second double crochet. In other words the chain 2 counts as a stich at the end of the row . To finish the row make a slip stich in the first stitch of the row. Row 3: chain 2 Make an increase in every 2nd stich.. That means make one double crochet in first stich . Next make 2 double crochets in the second stich. Next stich 1 double crochet Next stich 2 double crochets Repeat increases in every 2nd stich till the end of the row . At the end of each row you should end with 1 double crochet because the chain 2 counts as a stich at the end . To finish the row make a slip stich in the first stitch of the row. Row 4: chain 2 Make increases in every 3rd stich. That means 1 double crochet in first and second stich . Then 2 double crochets in the 3rd stich . Repeat increases in every 3rd stich till the end of the row . To finish the row Slip stich in the first stich of the row. Row 5: chain 2 Make increases in every 4th stich . Repeat increases in every 4th stich till end of the row . To finish the row slip stich in the first stich of the row . Row 6: chain 2 Make increases in every 5th stich. Repeat increases in every 5th stich till end of the row . To finish the row slip stich in the first stich of the row . Row 7: chain 2 Make increases in every 6th stich . Repeat increases in every 6th stich till the end of the row . To finish slip stitch in the first stich of the row . Row 8: chain 2 Make increases in every 7th stich . Repeat increases in every 7th stich till the end of the row . To finish slip stitch in the first stich of the row . Row 9: chain 2 normal double crochets (one double crochet In each stich) till the end of the row. NO INCREASES. To finish the row slip stitch in the first stitch of the row . Row 10: chain 2 Normal double crochets . NO INCREASES. Row 11: chain 2 Normal double crochets. NO INCREASES. Row 12: chain 1 Make decreases till end of the row . Please watch the video if you don’t know how to make decreases💗 To finish ,slip stich in the first stich of the row. Row 13: chain 2 Make 3 double crochets in each stitch till the end of the row. Here the chain 2 counts as 1 stitch so you need 2 more double crochets to complete the increase for that stich . At the end of the row make 2 double crochets in the last stich . To finish ,slip stich in the first stitch of the row. Row 14: chain 2 Make 3 double crochets in each stitch Repeat the same thing as row 13. Row 15: chain 2 Repeat the same thing as previous row. To finish ,slip stich in the first stitch of the row. Then chain 1 and cut off your yarn . Weave in your end and your done 💗

What to do if your ruffle hat is loose in the back than the front? Is that normal or am I doing something wrong?

hi there, if I want to make a floppy hat, but make it a bit less floppy, which stitches should I change or reduce?

  • @anna.jisalo

If I understand well you want less ruffles right ? If you want to do that, when you get to that stage you reduce. Instead of placing 2 stiches into every hole you can make 2stiches in one hole every 2 Stiches. Like 2112112…
