Thank you :) If you don't have a rolling mill you can also hammer metal sheet onto these textures which can work well.

Use less tension on the rollers you will get less curve on the metal

Yes, it's always a balance between not curving the metal and getting a deep texture imprint. These metal samples were very thin but thicker metal requires less pressure and curves less.

Can the stamp with the butterfly as an example be done with a hide hammer or do you absolutely need a rolling mill? Beautiful work. Thank you!

I think you showed how to do textures without a rolling mill Kim, but I can't find the video anywhere. Did I remember this rightly?

What gauge or millimeters metal do you recommend?

Generally speaking the thicker the metal, the more your chosen texture can be pushed into that metal but we regularly use anything between 0.3mm - 3mm thick.

Can you use that machine to make the copper thinner instead of beating it out with a hammer?

Bitte warum so ein video über einen ganz banalen Arbeitsvorgang? Vielleicht sollte ich auch mal ein Video machen über den Grbrauch meines 300gr-Hammers?
