How to Create Shadows from Scratch in Photoshop!
Discover how to easily create natural shadows using the Layer Technique in Photoshop! In this tutorial, we will use the concept of shadow hardness and intensity to paint a shadow layer by layer. Using Opacity and Blur Gallery filter as powerful tools in our arsenal we will make sure that the shadow maintains a smooth and natural gradient.
This lesson will cover the concept of how a shadow is constructed, followed by using fundamental tools like Layers, Opacity, Field Blur, and Tilt Shift, to simulate a real shadow. We will also learn a unique trick where we use grain to make the shadow more realistic. I hope you enjoy this video. Thank you so much for watching :)

This man even suggests us to take a break knowing it will be frustrating for some people, what a legend.
I wish a double like you (or someone as good as you) existed but for Illustrator. Absolute mastery for both technical and pedagogic knowledge transfering. Absolute beast !!!

Every time I have a question about anything of photoshop you always create a perfect tutorial to solve it. You are the best
Best teacher of photoshop on youtube. Hands down
Always appreciated your videos. You explain, break down, and let us see the whole process. Much love!
I love your videos. You teach in a way that allows anybody to understand, what you are doing, while producing indredible work. I am just a hobbyist. Whenever I need to solve a PS problem, I see if there is something related to it on your channel - and usually, there is. Thank you for your content.
Ive been working with Photoshop for almost 15 years now and you still teach me things every time
I've used Photoshop since version 3.0 but always learn something amazing from you. Great stuff my friend!

Your tutorials are concise and extremely useful-Thanks!
I watched a lot of your tutorials even videos released 5 years ago. I don't know how to thank you for your help, you supporting people more than people who support you. Literally you are the best Photoshop teacher, and I really respect you and your great parents who came up with someone so helpful like you. Thanks for everything, i love you bro (no homo). Your student from Yemen.
Extremely useful tutorial for anyone doing compositing. Thank you for another masterclass.

Some of the best content on KZread. Brilliant tutor.
Wow! This will make a tremendous difference in the way I see, imagine, and create shadows. I could place those bars of soap outside in the sun and the shadows wouldn't look more realistic. No more being afraid of one's shadows in Photoshop!

I love your kind manner and your great knowledge. I've learned from you many times. Thank you!
Your smile throughout the video make video very postive.
You have the best PS tutorials, thanks. 👍
Great content. Also, my 2 cents - usually colors from the object will reflect to the background and pollute the shadows. So to make it look more natural, you can add a little bit of the object's color to the shadows. In this case a little cream/yellow color.
