It would be nice to see a video how to setup kali linux with Ventoy in persistence mode.
i'm just curous: would the .ventoyignore file still be valid if it was not empty?
Thanks for the video, I started playing with Ventoy today. It is supposed to give Zorin OS persistence, but that didn't happen for me. Have you looked into the Persistence capabilities for Ventoy?

Hi I used ventoy , and it works good for installing os but it's not working properly for Liveboot Linux OS desktop boot.....

Depending on which Linux Distro you're using, you might be better off using a separate USB drive to boot Linux...like Kali Linux for example: you would be better off using a seperate USB drive so that you could enable "persistence" . That way, you could download the different command line tools from github and still have them as well as any data you've gathered, the next time you booted from that USB drive. It would be able to store your data files and so-on , on the USB directly. Just a thought/suggestion...good luck.
How do you get the iso files though? My windows 10 iso only installs. It won't boot

You download them from their respective sites
it wont get corrupted
Windows detected it as a virus... I couldn't download it
Ventoy likes to fuck itself up when I turn on legacy boot...
VENTOY is GREAT--- but don't OVERUSE this--- I distro-hopped a lot with mine and eventually it got to putting out corrupt files things wouldn't boot- etc. and it was NOT Ventoy that was bad-- but the USB key..... so if you use yours a LOT-- change USB keys every so often or it WILL begin to fail...
Very usefull i was using WINTOUSB Before it was a huge mess to make it work proprly
