Pamela, this wing is absolutely Gorgeous, it's been a long times i've serach a tutorial who i will really love the look of a Fantasy & Magical wings which i found today on your fantastic tutorial, so thanky ou so very much for your great explinations & you are my absoluted Famous teacher to learn everythings i wan't to learn for being able to love the final result and achieved the perfect looking of any items i love to color, plus you ar so Generous of your times to do real times tutorials but morte then that i've watch tons of tutorials and you are the only ones who gave the numbers & the name of colors before you start coloring the area you wan't to and at the end you do a reminder of what you've use and repeat the colored pencils & other supplies you have use so for this i gave you 5 big stars and send you many hugs from Canada! Oh my..do you have a video where you do this on white paper ? Maybe a a Hannah Lynn book...great for beginners..or even Maria Triple Nightfall. You got me on Stickles !!!!!! Love them so much !!!

I honestly can't even remember the color combination of her dress aside from the cream. I can, however, show how to make things look translucent like her sleeves and the middle part of her dress in a video if enough people would like to see that. perhaps buy a pack of pencil extenders so you dont have to worry about your hand blocking the camera. stunning wings. they are beautiful. thx for sharing this

I have pencil extenders. I am sorry that my hand blocked what I was doing. Learning to color while filming has been a skill I've had to learn over the last 8 months. Sometimes I still accidently put my hand in front of what I'm working on. Unless you also film while coloring, it may be hard to understand how difficult this is. I have actually changed the entire way I color since starting a KZread channel just to favor certain angles when I am filming. Thank you.

Wonderful job! I have a request for the sheer fabric you colored, can you demo? I have been looking at tons of videos and can’t find anything on how to do this. If you work in different mediums have you tried using them for this affect? I’m Also going to look for how you did the skin, it’s so soft and lovely. Thank you for sharing.

So many requests to show how I did the translucent fabric. I may just need to reprint the page and show you how I did it. Maybe I can reprint it and show that as well as her skin. This was a page that I was coloring without filming because I don't too often get time to color myself without doing tutorials or color alongs for my channel. I only went on camera for this wings because someone had requested a fairy wing tutorial some time ago. I will definitely see what I can do. Sorry if this has been answered, I am new to this channel, but are you saying you scan the page into your computer and then print it out on the tan paper? Don't you lose some detail/quality with the gray shading? Or do you use a really nice scanner & printer?

I have a request to asked you, as i had all of these Magnificent grayscale illustrations by my fav. Artist Christine Karron who had some Magic Dust at the end of her fingers you know the big tree, i think you've say a tronk in english but not shure at all but anyway would love to learn how to color a real piece of tree just like this one, this is something i struggle with and they had so many so it would be highly appreciated and would be so Grateful when you have times only it's not a rush and you could say no if you don't feel or having no times for my request i've asked you because i know i will learn from the Best and will understhand the process & Techniques for ever, Thank You Pamela xx

It does work, but needs to be done a little bit differently. I am working on a page now that has white paper creating some Iridescent fairy wings.

How are you copying the image without cutting it out of the book?

I put it into my printer and copy the page. I usually scan them into my computer so I can look at the image on my screen and crop it the way I want before printing it. Then I use the toned tan paper and cut it to the right size for the printer.
