You should make a video on how you pose/direct your clients!

I would love to see that!
Your work is a constant inspiration and thank you so much for being on KZread
Thank you, Rafal for sharing......beautiful images captured in a "normal" everyday setting.
Beautiful images, love your work Rafal. Keep the videos coming.
Love your work. The backgrounds in these are amazing.

I love this improvisation style. The painting had a good effect.
thank you for sharing ! much appreciated! would you be so kind to tell us what gear lighting gear you use, including the stands, pls. I'd like to get into corporate headshots and I'm looking for expenditure estimate for the necessary gear. Thank you so much!
That lens make a huge difference in my opinion, it really makes those backgrounds work perfectly with the subject. Is that an adapter for the stand that is holding the reflector? I need to get me one of those!
Your client is a beautiful subject to photograph. Thank you
Thank You for Your films!!
Hi Rafal- great information and beautiful shots. If you would, I'd like to see you go through the process of establishing your settings for the setup shooting out the window especially. What did you see outside that you thought it would work? What were your first test shots like? How did you adjust for this to finally get to a look you liked? What did that look like? As you have said many times, the exact settings in any situation don't matter so what if you showed the process to get to the right look? Could be same for the other setup going from background to final full lighting settings and test shots. Always grateful! Thank you, Rafal!
love it!!!thank you

Fantastic!!!
Thanks for this informative video! I have a photo shoot for corporate headshots and this is right on time!
How do you transport your gear and set up quickly?
Just watched this for the second time. Enjoyed both times. Very good tips.
Hi, wonderful work, have seen this video quite a few times 😂 what is the tripod and boom arm that you are using for the main light? Thanks in advance 😊
hi rafal.. have you tried using studio lights? is it the same? thank you
i love your work
Rafal what were your settings? I don’t see them in the description? What diffuser did you put on speed light for background? The background with the painting was exceptional. You do excellent work!

Thank You! Nikon D800 Nikon 70-200VRII F4.5 1/250s ISO100 I didn't put any diffuser on the background. I shot straight from the speed-light.

Rafal Wegiel Great video ! Thank you 🙏🏾
I know this video is over a year old (almost 1.5) but what are you using for a grip head for the reflector? I have one, but I hate how it sounds (isn't secure, squeaks, etc.) and potentially stupid question, but did you just have to open it wide tp get it over the top of the light stand? (I assume you had to, correct?)

I am still using the grip this is the link to Amazon www.amazon.ca/dp/B014D22P26?ref=exp_rafalwegiel_dp_vv_d Yes You can change the size based on the size of the reflector.

@@RafalWegiel thank you!
this is a great video! ive seen other 'super pros' videos and they used half dozen monolights and was WAY too involved. im just curious what something would run cost wise. i was asked to do 7 head shots for a local Double Tree and i quoted them 1/2 rate of $300. never heard back from them so i presume they got someone with and iphone to shoot them. second question, is that a Calgary Flames t-shirt?

Yes it is

Nice work
hello Rafal. Great channel you have here. I am over here in Brampton Canada. Can you tell me the exact reflector and stand you are using . I want to get a good one. I find them flimsy and keep falling over and shifting out of place

PoeticFlair Photography I use Lastolite reflector and as far the stand goes I use Manfrotto.
7:32 Wow. Great shot. Great editing. Good video.
wow excellent content, love your video blogs
really beautiful shoot, and great idea just to turn the picture from the background
What was the focal length you shot at?
Hey Rafal It’s that good to use 105mm macro in stead of 70-200mm Thank you
I need more powerful strobes for outside photoshoots.
How do u set the kicker..
How far were you from the subject? Considering the VR2 has a lot of focus breathing. My Tamron 70-200 also suffers from focus breathing, thus asking the working distance.

had to be at over 150mm for the compression in the background.
Hi Rafal, Great Video, Can You Tell Me What I Would Need To Hold The Reflector As The Set Up You Have, I Would Be Forever Searching For These Parts :)

Also helps to be stunning..
I'd like to know what happens after the shoot. Do you send the client all unedited photos to pick which ones to edit? Do you pick the ones you like best? How many photos do they get from the shoot?
@MK-hz2bn

You never show clients unedited pics. The photographer knows which ones are the best. That’s what they pay you for.

@@MK-hz2bn Do you know the famous headshot photographer Peter Hurley? He tethers his laptop at the shoot and immediately after the session he shows the client all his shots and the client pics the 10 they want, then Peter edits those later and the client has to pay for each image they want to download - and he is very successful. But I'm like you, never - ever show unedited images.
@MK-hz2bn
2 жыл бұрын
@@crollinsphoto yes Peter does do that, but the ones he shows clients are jpegs. Jpegs are semi edited by the camera. He is also in the studio, in controlled lighting. I never let the client have unedited photos and neither does Peter Hurley. Showing a client photos on HIS computer screen to pick out the ones they like and sending the client all the unedited raw files different.
Also heads to be stunning ….
What would you charge the client for a session like this?

Depends...You can check my website for the pricing.
Rafal, does all your headshot sessions come with hair and makeup?

@@RafalWegiel how do you get the pricing setup .. MUA .. clients etc .. what if client doesnot agree for extra payments for MUA
@RafalWegiel

The Makeup and Hair is always extra and is not included in my pricing and I have recommend list of people I like to work with. Everything depends how You present to the client those services. Makeup and Hair makes not only your client look better but also makes your images look much more professional. Education is a key. If the client refuse to have a makeup or hair done I refuse to shoot. Its like going to restaurant an eating your own food. @@DipeshMehrotra
