Hello Josh! Great Video. Are you able to use Temporal Sample Count more than 1 while using Chaos Cloth Sim ? I am only able to use Spatial Sample Count. Adding Temporal Samples more than 1 is not letting simulate cloth in Movie Render Queue. :( Have you come across this problem ? Looking forward to your reply. Cheers man.

They are planning on making Unreal Engine for filmmakers something you have to pay a monthly fee for come 2024. A tad nervous it's gonna be thousands of dollars per year. If the subscription is meant to make more powerful improvements to Unreal Engine at a faster rate, that's one thing. But if it's simply to make the people at the top richer and not actually accelerate the Engine's advancements, then that's not cool. Especially after they just fired 800 people.... Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

It's the Physics Asset Editor (PhAT in some tutorials) where you can add simulated physics to your skeletal mesh. It's tied to your skeletal mesh, there's an icon for it on the top right when you open your skeletal mesh editor :D

I don`t have any experience in film making besides when I was 7 and did 70 pictures of a scene of a lego war and then putting them together. I also don´t have any programming & designing skills. Is the course you´re selling a good fundament for this hobby or should I maybe learn something else first?

Hey! No problem at all, the course is designed for Filmmakers and people completely new to Unreal Engine and Game dev. It may take a bit longer to get up and running when making your first projects, but that’s to be expected. We have a Discord to help you through any questions too, best of luck!

Hi, is a laptop with Core i7, RAM 32GB, hard disk 1000GB SSD, and RTX 3080 Ti good enough for making animation in UE 5.3? Or should I invest in a 64GB laptop?

  • @JoshToonen
