Really helpful tutorial, Thanks. However I do have a question regarding the timing of the dialogue that I hope you can help with. When I've had to add some text into the transcript it sometimes takes it out of sync with the audio track. Is there a way I can manually move the timing of the some of the subtitle/transcript? Thanks Matt, hope you can help.🤔

After spending months finishing my first feature and spending countless hours in Premiere Pro editing it felt like a gut punch when I realised a few sites and festivals out there want captions via srt files. Not knowing anything about the process, I was lucky to stumble across this video. I'm still in the thick of it and I have music files and audio already on the same track so I am unsure how transcribing will go and what other issues I will need to contend with but am grateful that this short and concise video gave me a great head start on mastering captions. cheers

This was so incredibly helpful, thanks Matt! When I was working as an videographer as an employee, auto transcribe was not a feature in Premiere Pro and the captions workflow was much different to how it is now. I've somehow made it nearly a year into being a self-employed videographer without needing to create captions/ subtitles (no idea how!) but your tutorial explaining the new workflow was great and much faster than using the online transcribe tools I used to use - so thank you once again for another great video!

There is actually a work around with Premiere Pro 15: Export as a jpg, then uncheck the box in the video settings „as a sequence“ and add sidecard. Then you will geht just one jpg and the sidecard. Way quicker than exporting a whole video as a mp4.
