How to create Animal Encounter habitats | Planet Zoo Tutorial

Learn how to create animal encounter habitats following this tutorial! The Planet Zoo update 1.17 adds a new interactive animal encounter experience for a selection of walkthrough habitat species. This includes all 7 of the new animals in the Barnyard Animal Pack, but also 12 other animals already in game, including 5 base game species. This includes:
- Alpaca
- Alpine goat
- American standard donkey
- Black and white ruffed lemur
- Capybara
- Colombian white faced capuchin monkey
- European fallow deer
- Highland cattle
- Hill radnor sheep
- Indian peafowl
- Japanese macaque
- Llama
- Quokka
- Red ruffed lemur
- Red-necked wallaby
- Reindeer
- Ring tailed lemur
- Sussex chicken
- Tamworth pig

I'm kind of surprised you don't have to have education staff assigned to these. Seems like people should be supervised when interacting with the zoo animals. But still neat. I'm going to place some in my new zoo!
Thank you for this! I was a little confused how to activate these encounters, did NOT notice the new tab on the habitat barrier screen!

One thing I should mention that has others confused is you have to add a path inside as well, guests will only start the encounter off the guest path inside the habitat, so you have to add at least a small bit of path inside too!

Did you know Now that you have ALPACAS in planet zoo you can actually house them with the llamas?
Im so confused. I keep trying to place a path inside the enclosure and its not letting me. I checked and the animal is able to interact with guests and theres nothing in the way. Is there anything else that could be causing this?

same for me too! are you still having the same issue? I cant for the life of me figure out a way around it and the guests refuse to go inside
