I used to think social media was bad, I even deleted my IG. But I've realised that social media is going to stay whether you like it or not. And the person who is less "high value" than you but with a social media presence unlike you, is going to outpace you. We all are forced into this game, we might as well play it.

The thing is, social media is only as harmful as you choose it to be. Lemme explain: Let's take the addictive algorithm of insta/yt/tiktok Yes the algorithm is powerful and can hook you. However, use it's power to benefit you. Curate your feed to only include beneficial topics and educational videos. Subscribe/follow the content creators that make this content. When you find smth that isn't beneficial, skip it. The algorithm will know you hate this kind of useless content so it will stop suggesting you it eventually and only suggest you valuable things. This sort of method can be applied elsewhere as well. Yes insta can be toxic with people putting out a perfect image of themselves and making you believe they just woke up out of bed beautiful. Yes this can lead to insecurity. But you don't have to follow these people. Just ignore them and focus on yourself and your friends and family. In other words, the bucket concept in the video
