How to create addon weapon icons in FiveM

Weapon name to hash: dalr.ae/GTA5Hasher
Text instructions:
Get weapon name and hash of weapon
Define a new shape
Right click, Replace update bounds, Click on your weapon icon
Define a new sprite
Right click
PlaceObject2 tag
PlaceObject2
depth = 1
hasCharacter =true
CharacterID = shape ID
Go to weapon slot sprite
Create a new RemoveObject, Depth = 1
Create a FrameLabel inside new frame, set name to INT(WEAPONHASH)
Create a new PlaceObject2
depth = 1
hasMatrix = true
hasCharacter = true
characterId = sprite tag
matrix hasScale = true
Scale accordingly using scaleX and scaleY (Usually around 30k)
Use free transform until you see the weapon icon
Create a new ExportAsset in others
Right click assets [count], Insert Asset at the end
set the uint16 to sprite asset
Set the string to weapon name

For sure need more tut videos like this. Not just for coding, but the more in depth tedious things that really require a reference to go off of. I use qbcore so this video isn't useful for me, but your saving a headache for many others.

What tutorials do you recommend? I haven't used the QBCore framework, but if you have any recommendations then lmk!

@@Dalrae Thinking as a server owner, one of the hardest things to do is to make sure that your resources are optimized. Countless servers experience high resource monitor usage causing de-sync and lag because they have open loops or scripts that are poorly written. If you could brainstorm and put together a tut video that you would watch to help people start to learn and pickup how to optimize resources, I think that would be a good place to start.

@@CognitivelyImpaired I will definitely create a video like that, but all I can really do in that case is just give common examples of how to fix bad optimization. Optimization is very very broad, and there's a lot to do with it. Truthfully, even I don't know some things about optimization strategies and it is a very complicated topic to convey over a KZread video

@@Dalrae gotcha, really anything you have to show in that aspect would help everyone with being more confident, and familiar with what they are looking at I think. Keep posting vids none the less, I learn something new from each video, fivem or not.
Made every step excactly as explained but it don't work. My add on weapon just have no icon :/
Can you make the complete [Streamers] folder available so I can just add it to my server and make the changes?
how i can get hash for my addon weapons but without five m for singleplayer ?

I followed all the steps, but as soon as I enable the script, no one able to join the server, when I disable the script I can join again, there is no logging what so ever, I don't understand why it is happening. It always stops loading at "Invoking CNewHud INIT_SESSION init (2 of 55)" I am running an ESX server btw

I fixed it by using an older version of FFDEC!

Do I have to create different hud.gfx files for each custom weapon I make? Or do I just make one and stream them all in one file?
What do I have to type in as the data_file in my __resource.lua?

Nevermind, I figured it out myself, for whoever is trying to do this in the future, just add a ShowFrameTag and then add your new tags

How do you this for multiple weapon icons? lets say you have 2 pistols and want them both to have icons. In the hud.gfx It seems as I can only make one, when I try to make removeobject2tag in the slotweapons_0 , it keeps adding into the previous pistol frame I made but it does not make a new frame, any solution?
