Thanks so much Luxem! We are very honoured for you to say that!
I like that when i watch the motion before watching the tutorial it looks like spining in 3d, and afterwards it looks like a 2d background scrolling behind a 2d moving object. Really shows how knowing more can really change how you see and interpret things
I'm completely new to AE and have been watching various tutorials out there to try and see how I can apply some techniques to my videos. This blew my mind, thanks so much!
Parenting things to nulls so you can position nulls and have everything else positioned relative to it is the most mind-blowing technique, and I'm wracking my brain to find my own use for it. And alpha mattes. Great video.

Thanks for this video. I'm a beginner so I had to pause and scrub back and forth a lot to follow along. Do you think you could hide your dock in the future? The progress bar overlays it so it's a bit distracting.

Thank you for the great video. It might sound stupid but I'm a very beginner of AE..what if I dont have that 'undertheinfluence' pannel on my screen? 3:28
thank you for the tutorial! I'm still confused with the parent things. could you explain it why can control 1 need to be parented to control 2 ?
what if you wanted the can to rotate with the label (say the can had some texture, water drops, etc) would you just make a patten of the can like you did the label, and use the repetile tool + match it to the label specs?
nice tut

You're welcome! Any time!
I liked this video for later use because I really liked the animation :). But I was looking more for something to distort the edges of the art at the sides of the cylinder to give the appearance of the image actually rotating and being condensed at the edge. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
genius
do you have a tutorial on how you drew the can?
thank you

What about using a displacement map to give it a bit of a cylindrical look?
@MotionArrayTutorials
5 жыл бұрын
You could definitely give that a try. It would depend on how you set it up but we would be very interested to see if something like that worked well.
I am looking for documentation on what exactly the Under The Influence script does Can you help?
Could you make a video on how to make a drone propeller spin?
how did you loop your label for the can? Is it the same if it was an animation?
is it same method for earth rotation animation?
Bro how you created all comp we need full video please bro

Little scaling in x axis would further improve effect.
Is this possible with something more complex? Like something that doesn't have the same shape when rotating in the real world
Whats the difference between ccrepetile and motion tile?
So like what if you were doing a 3D rectangle and it's red and on the orientation it's like x y and z and one of the rotations is like a negative 1x plus 0 0°, how would you put that into the orientation? Thanks
I didnt use under the influence script, but it seems to work just without it, is this scrip important on future animations?
what did u do to the label to make it set up to loop
Hello! Great tutorial! Can you make one that explains how to create an object or a character such as the can!?!?!?

Can someone explain the "undertheinfluence" script?
@MotionArrayTutorials

It's basically a free tool created by Owen to help make motions like ramping up and down speed a lot easier to create quickly and easily. The link to it is in the description of the video, but if you want a run-down of the tool then you can watch this video here: motionarray.com/tutorials/after-effects-tutorials/how-to/how-to-easily-create-better-animations-in-adobe-after-effects

@@MotionArrayTutorials Great effect, thanks for the tutorial. I immediately wondered the same thing and I bet a lot of others did too. Probably a good idea to briefly mention some info about something that is not a standard part of AE when it comes up in your videos. Thanks again.
Can control to major one
How did you make glare???
where can i find these "undertheinfluence" window???
where can i find undertheinfluence?
you'll never guess where i come from... geometry dash, i'm trying to create a spinning object EXACTLY in this situation, tysm!
