How to Create a Bricks "Blueprint" Site for Rapid Development (Every WP & Plugin Setting Revealed!)
If you're a freelancer or agency owner, what's your process for deploying a new Bricks development site?
Do you manually install Bricks and all your plugins? Do you manually put in all your plugin license keys? Do you manually configure all your plugin settings? What about your preferred WP settings? What about your preferred Bricks settings?
How do you handle common custom post types? A header template? Footer? Contact form? SEO settings? Optimization settings?
Do you do all or most of this manually for every new project?
Stop doing that! It's a massive waste of time and money. It's not fun. In fact, it's what chumps do!
In this video, I will show you how to create a Bricks "blueprint" site with Bricks Builder, all plugins, and all WP settings pre-configured to deploy new development sites in seconds whenever you have a new project to work on.
I will go plugin by plugin, setting by setting, showing you the entire setup. And I'll show you an easy process that allows you to deploy your blueprint site to any domain in seconds.
If you don't use my exact plugins, it's okay. You'll still learn a good process. If you use the plugins I use, you'll get to see exactly how I set everything up.

This is absolutely awesome! Thank you Kevin for continuing to educate and help us all grow.
What an absoulute gem of a video. That's the best 1hr 10mins I have spent learning some crucial steps for a blueprint site
Kevin, thanks for your inciteful advice! Your generous video is helping to spawn an amazing Bricks community!
Always love your videos, Kevin! Super helpful and got some additional ideas on how to tweak my existing Blueprint. You have a lot of premium plugins - would love a version (or doc) with recommended "free" plugins too. While I have many of these plugins, can't afford all of them yet. Keep these videos rockin'! Love it!
I needed this 15 years ago. Haha. Thanks from one web designer to another!
Wow. This is exactly what I needed! Just bought Bricks and am ready to get serious about my site set up. Thank you sir!
One of the best Kevin Geary tutorials yet. Learned a ton it's really great.
Thank you Kevin Geary for this well-done hard work/tutorial. You are much appreciated. 🙏
Thank you so much Kevin. This content is so valuable. I am watching your videos one by one when i have time.

The highest level of expertise in WordPress - the free tutorials are outstanding! Don't be a chump!
Excellent and valuable content, as always. Thank you, Kevin.
Awesome video Kevin! Followed it step-by-step in order to set-up future affiliate websites quickly. As a freelance SEO specialist I'm glad you highlight the importance of a SOP. I've had several clients missing organic results because of the lack of it. (Or even worse: experiencing a huge drop in organic traffic after a website migration. But that's another story.) Sometimes it's simply a result of unintentionally no indexing. That's definitely not necessary. So thank you for educating people in here 🙂

thanks for PB101 and the blueprint video. I paid so much for web development crash course of 6months in my country and didn't get close to the comprehension of what you offered. Now im ready to go next level and build better websites. I am definitely going to join the inner circle as well because I want to continue learning more of what you have to offer.
Awesome, awesome video Kevin! Fantastic content and insight into your thought processes. Thanks for sharing!
Damn Kevin, this video has GREAT information from start to finish! I never really knew about "blueprint" sites but can definitely see the advantages. I'm going to rewatch this video a few times to really make sure I take notes and understand all of the "default" settings you recommend.

Another great tutorial Kevin, thanks. I added a couple more steps, I set up a 'System' Category and created a couple of posts with reminders and instructions for the 3 month rule, and I set up the User Registration, Login, Lost and Reset Password pages so that they can be customised later.
What a refresher course this was. Bravo!

Value on value on value - You've upped my game, and my profit exponential - I made my first blueprint site after watching your "plugin stack 2023" video , but got some of the smaller yet, important things in place after watching this video. Spinning up a new project now takes seconds and not 30 - 60+ minutes !! I'd love to see a video on your basecamp setup - how you use it etc.

Last night I started watching this walkthrough and I just couldn't stop. This was something I had to watch all at once. Very relevant and fascinating material, Kevin. The stuffs you provide to your subscribers and viewers are fantastic, and I genuinely appreciate your efforts in doing so. Just one thing: I see you tweak the Automatic.CSS settings quite a bit. Given that you are the plugin's respected developer, why not include a "Set Optimal Settings" button that, when clicked by the user, applies all the "startup" parameters you customized? Afterwards, at the user's convenience, modifications can be made. That seems like a good opportunity to save some time IMHO. Thank you so much again.

@@Gearyco I picked up ACSS, too. I'm really liking it so far. I figured out the right clicking to automatically add variables on accident (haven't gone through the docs yet). Awesome idea ! I'm looking forward to the new cheatsheet.
Very helpful, thanks for sharing! On 59:50 I'm deactivating also the WordPress additional image sizes (medium_large, 1536x1536, and 2048x2048) and I'm thinking even to expand this to all default images, so that there is only on place where I have to change the sizes, if needed (in the PHP script).
So valuable to see this Kevin! Watched every second. I guess you know more time wasters most people do? I'd watch that too. One thing tho, I would not advice to setup accounts in a blueprint using the same password in case of a breach, then all sites reusing the password need to be changed - manually...
