Man thanks for this one. I recognize the voice at this point and prolly should subscribe cause iv seen so many of your build videos. This is specifically the one video I needed though because I was a little unclear with flame arts and affinities and how they scale with faith. Just made a pure pyro/lightning build and just wanted to have some weapons just for fun. I want to keep str/dex at the minimal level so flame art with flame strike or sacred blade with the bandit swords was exactly what I was looking for. I love piercing fang/impaling thrust with the short spear so I’m going to try the flame art with that to see how it boosts the ar. Thanks a ton again for this one. Also, If anyone knows a better long reach piercing/thrust weapon with very low requirements let me know.

Thanks! 🙏 and I don’t use too many thrusting weapons, but the Iron Greatsword does well with repeating thrust in any affinity. Same for Swordspear. Both have insane base damage. 🤘

I have a good build for ya. As I use the Shunning Grounds enemies as practice, I found that the Pike with Piercing Fang takes only two hits to poise break those Omen enemies. I gave it Cold affinity for fun and it seems pretty cool.

Really hope Holy damage is more viable in the DLC. Would love to play a Paladin type build but Holy is just underwhelming towards end game in the base game. Let’s hope it’s a lot better in the DLC! Great video as always Matt! Been here since the beginning 👊🏻❤️

Just a suggestion... when youre showing talismans for damage buffing. You can hit 🔺️ ( or whatever button is in its place) and itll show your weapons ars, and how much of an increase it actually does or doesnt give

Pro tips: almost every build I make has 23 faith, so that when you use the faith tear you an howl of shabriri and black flame protection. This boosts your attack and defense high enough to pretty much be invincible in PVE, they're that good and of course both stack with golden vow. Also always use 2 giants seals or 2 golden order seals, at mid to meta levels they are superior to the erdtree seal for the giant's incancations and golden order respectively. Also bonus tip, fire art claymore with flaming strike beats every other faith weapon in the game.

Black flame protection & Howl are both body buffs. They don’t stack lol claymore doesn’t even have the highest AR in flame art or sacred. It’s good, though.

Im considered new to elden ring really. I have about 250 hours going into new game +3. I finished play through with darkmoom greatsword and the 2nd run with elenors poleblade and godskin peeler arcane build. Im really struggling on a new build and cant seem to find something i like. Any suggestions. Btw great vidoes

No not yet. Just builds for the black knife. I don’t do too much with daggers because I don’t use them often.

As much as I love your build videos, right now I’m looking for builds that don’t require being in NG+. Like, what are the top 5 new-game builds I can put together in an hour? I’m not going into DLC on NG+, so I’m not really into these build.

Appreciate it. I do some early game guides but my channel as a whole has always been for late game/NG+. It’s much more restrictive before RL 125-150. The channel has been reorganized & the early game builds are easy to find. 🤘

Not really my style/wasn’t interested. I’ll be playing black myth wukong later this year. Maybe monster Hunter next year (I like the series).

Faith is really fun. I wish holy damage had more “godliness” to it. Huge explosions and stuff
