Garden is the best thing to have ..so therapeutic , organic, rewarding. I'm grateful to God for my garden. I thought Dady had already a garden.

Sasha I’m happy to see you and Deddy’s back in the kitchen! I’m in Pennsylvania I have my veggies and herbs growing on my back deck! I have a lot of land but we also have deers, raccoons,bears moles , foxes and the list keeps going! I plant marigolds flowers around the border or the perimeter of my pots . The animals hate that smell , they also hate the smells of Rosemary , mint, bay leaves, tyme, if you notice the veggies near the herbs are good the animals don’t like the smell. When you use the pepper flakes, or hot sauce only last until it rains or you water the garden!

Much love from PEI!!! We've been raising and growing chickens (layers and broilers) for about 5 years. We've grown different crops over the years. This year: tomatoes, strawberries, peas, sunflowers, lettuce, and a few others. Frim the ground to the plate.❤❤❤

Deddy, you can use an owl to keep the squirrels away. If that doesn’t work use peppermint oil, cinnamon. I haven’t try it yet but I’ve heard the scent of Irish spring soap keeps them away also. Good luck

Hi Family, I love love Calaloo and this looks delicious can’t wait to cook some up. The squirrel problem, you can use a neem oil extract spray or can cover your callaloo with a mesh netting, whichever you prefer to use. I like the mesh netting cover. Happy growing. Peace and Love always❤

Beautiful Garden. My dad used to have a garden. He grew some of everything. We also had a grape vine in the backyard. This is the best way to eat. Delicious and healthy. I believe my dad used some pepper or something to keep rodents out.

You can grow or use Mint to keep rodents away, and you can also grow cinnamon, lilac to keep bugs away etc.

Daddy I use critter spray you can buy from Walmart or coyote pee. I also mix green onions and garlic in between as they don't like the scent. You can also get an owl or fence your garden in.

Hello fam ♥️♥️ Sasha…talk all you want my sista nuff said. Deddy…how does your garden grow? B E A U T I F U L L Y 🥰 Everything has shot up in such a short time. My Grandfather had 2 gardens…one for melons & cantaloupe. The other had potatoes, tomatoes, string beans, peas, onions, corn…not all at the same time because certain plants came up at certain times, Not too sure what to do about the squirrel. Cayenne is a good idea. Maybe Google to see what smells or tastes they don’t like. Maybe mothballs could work. I see Callaloo is simple to make. I’m not sure if I’ll find it here where I live but I will search. Looked delicious.
