Pretty much all of Hawaii has a rice cooker and most use sticky rice. The rice will only get sticky after it absorbs the water and cooked. We ran out of Brown rice so we used white rice in the video. Whatever we don't use we refrigerate. I will eat a two day old rice but we prefer fresh. My wife goes nuts for Tempura. The inside pot has the measures for the water level, don't need to use the rice measure cup for the water. I also use one tablespoon of salt per 2 cups of rice and 1 tablespoon of cooking oil for each cup that is cooking. 20 minutes and its done.

It was nice to see how to use the rice cooker without listening to obnoxious music, and the verbal explanation is friendly and light.

Thank you for this. My rice always came out either too gooey or burning. I left it a little longer after the button clicked and it came out so much better. Btw you're daughter is too precious! Her little voice "hey daddy" "you got it?" So sweet 🥰 Blessings ❤ Aloha.

In my measuring cup I had a cup of rice but putting it in the rice cooker, it only went half way to the cup mark. I'm trying this with 1 1/2 cup water since that's what the directions call for on stovetop. Hope all goes well, just waiting now.

Yes. I looked you up and thank you! Just got my first rice cooker and I wanted to get the measuring situation straight because the lines on the pot are misleading. 😏 Thanks again, Bud.
