HOW TO COOK for & FEED over 3000 Japanese Students in 1 DAY

Watch and see how this school lunch center cooks for over 3000 students from 4 different schools in Tokyo! This is all food for just 1 day! It is a very big operation that involves a huge number of people and very sanitary and clean conditions. You can see the lengths these workers go to to maintain high sanitary standards and deliver the safest food possible for the students.

@@shable1436Are you sure? I grew up in a small town in the Midwest, this video said 3000 students. My High school alone had 1500 students. Unless their schools are all a lot smaller then a rural Midwest town's school's. I can't imagine that this serves more than a couple schools max.

@@TheLostBear78 Not putting this video down because it IS amazing but their dense population makes this kind of handling an almost necessity. A simple cold could outbreak into hundreds of students and end up as 1000's of people becoming infected in turn. In the USA our lack of density ends up in our food handling being subpar. Nevermind trying to imagine the insane costs involved in the transportation and connection of so many organic producers.

yea i think one issue the usa has compared to japan, is the way infrastructure is setup in general. i am personally from the netherlands. but when i look at the usa i tend to see 3 big factors, the concept of a stroad(neither a street or road but a mix of both), and just how much there is of it. and the lack of being able to intermingle certain infrastructure. as they love to divide suburbia, from anything commercially/public usage and heavier industry. japan density in some spots has made them very efficient whit how thing are setup, from a planning perspective but also being several times more flexible to usa rules. so yea one location can easily service a fairly large area. here in the netherlands some of the larger schools just have this aspect build in to a far lesser degree. though while some do locally source ingredients, i don't think we even match some of these Japanese cooking stations. since jus the scale makes it so much easier to become reliable market share locally.

I work in a kitchen but nothing of this calibre. Absolutely amazing, awe-inspiring and inspirational! I could only dream to work in a professional environment like this. Lots to learn as well. I am proud to see such great work and effort coming from the team to cook children quality, nutritious meals. Absolute respect!

I feel very comfortable seeing the antiseptic conditions. Seems calming.
