Hey there, I would love to try this. I have a customer who wants it done is it something that I should try before I do it for a customer?

Do you think leaving the original feet really would make it too tall? Were you pleased with the vanity height when you were done? Personally I'm looking for taller vanity, im not a tall person but I really hate bending in half just to wash my face.

Hey, it all depends on your own height tolerance and your dresser. In this case, it was too high.

How did you connect the undermount sink?

What size sink were u able to use in this small vanity?

I enjoyed your tutorial . I'm looking for dressers at local Habitat Restores. My cabinet will be 39"-40" wide. There is a twenty inch bump out from the wall so I will have to cut out the dresser to accommodate it. Is water based poly-urethane as good as oil based poly-urethane to treat the wood against moisture? Thanks!

I've had great luck with General Finishes Water-based top coat. I also like that it doesn't yellow.

This was a few years ago, and I was able to get a remnant. I think it was under $150.

Where do you get that kind of pliers? I’ve been to my local hardware store and looked at their wire stripping pliers but the ones they stock either don’t have those holes for cutting screws with or if they do, the holes look too small for the screws that I need to cut (and there is a little bit of inconsistency between hole sizes between brands, which is very confusing. 10/32 should be the same across the board, right?). I attempted to cut a screw with a friend’s pliers that have the right kind of holes but I could not cut the screw. Maybe I wasn’t squeezing hard enough or had it in the wrong size hole, but I was hoping it might work and am confused as to why it didn’t.

Wayfair, but they no longer sell it.

It look a lot like West Elm acorn mid century furniture series. Very expensive though. This one per author is from wayfair. Having the same dilemma. Can’t find one that isn’t either obscenely expensive or just horrid.

The original legs were much prettier, you could have just kept and cut down the legs to fit the right measurements, would have fit the dresser better.

They were damaged and I needed something beefier to hold the weight of the stone counter top and any "human" weight that might be added. Sometimes function wins over design.

Baby wipes are bad for the planet 👎 also, too bad you took the only thing mid century modern about this piece off the dresser! I yelled at the screen when you took off those legs.
