How to Control Your Brain | Marisa Peer

Your greatest ally or your greatest enemy - it can launch you to the stars, or plunge you into the abyss. You decide. Revolutionary hypnotherapist, Marisa Peer, explains how to transform your life. Learn more in her masterclass👉go.mindvalley.com/5O0M5kZO
Your brain is smarter than you may think. It is highly receptive to your habits - in thought, emotion, and behavior. It manifests your reality based on these habits because it does what it thinks you want it to do.
Do you sometimes dread going to work or to the gym? Your brain will eventually find a way to make those lazy-day thoughts a reality. Maybe it will make you sick, or depressed, or unmotivated, so that it can achieve the outcome you envision in your head (avoiding work or the gym).
This is because your brain will always try to move you away from pain and towards pleasure.
But you can take control of your brain, your habits, and your destiny by forming a partnership with your brain as Marisa Peer describes.
Her simple techniques to start collaborating with your own brain will transform your life from day one.
Her revolutionary technique, Rapid Transformational Therapy, has worked for professional athletes, top entrepreneurs, and famous musicians to catalyze their personal growth and launch their fullest potential.
And now this technique is available to you. You can sign up here:👉go.mindvalley.com/Uncompromis...
IMPORTANT TIMESTAMPS:
01:14 1.Your Mind’s Job is to come up with Resistance
01:45 2.Your brain’s job is to help us Survive, Not make up Happy
03:20 3.Your brain likes and responds to images that make a picture
04:06 4.The brain loves what is familiar
ABOUT MARISA PEER:

Fabulous! Many years ago I tricked my mind that my birth control pill was a slimming pill every day and I started losing weight and when I came off birth control, I gained weight! I’ve known about tricking the mind 30 years ago but somehow it’s only now I’m getting back into it again! If only I continued with everything I did negatively but hey, life lessons are meant to be made! I absolutely love watching your videos Marisa and only came across you the other day!!! I shall be applying your tips hourly lol Thank You 🙏

I carry an emergency pager at work, it is very loud and shrill. I found myself getting more anxious when the pager rang. Then I began telling myself when it rang "oh, somebody needs me, I can help somebody, I am good at my job..." and then the sudden ringing did not bother me so much.

oh come on. It's not THAT bad. you're using negative thoughts that can easily be turned into positive. start focusing on the positives, no matter what it is you're doing. yes there's a background music, yes maybe it could've been lowered in volume. but boy, has she got a good, clear sounding voice and a message to go with it. I understood every word and English isn't even my first language.

That sounds like a tool I would use/ like to use. However, I do question how one would then differentiate between saying positive things vs being in denial of your true feelings? It does get exhausting to convince yourself of something that is not.

The Illuminated Muse* denial is an unconscious act. The person in denial has not accepted the reality and the problem they had, they are not accountable for their situation. What Marisa suggests demands you are conscious enough to realize you have to change your life and yourself and then having the discipline to do what you need to do to get to the goal even if your brain is tricking you to sabotage.

This is what I did with my a few weeks old baby and all the waking up and breastfeeding. I was so positive about I naturally chose to sleep with him to give a boobie anytime no effort, I think I literally got addicted to this happiness and I ended up having 3 more babies afterwards looool So I never understand when moms say breastfeeding or getting up at night is so tiring ...I'm like. What do you mean? You breastfeed without getting up, you are supposed to enjoy!
