Hi, if you have a motor driver that has Enable and input pin, yes you can use it. the 12V source depends on the power of your motor. if your motor needs 5A, then get a 12V 5A power source.

Thank you for the video I was able to follow the example and get something working. My question is now, "can the library handle more than two motors?" I have around 5 motors that I would like to control. I have three dual channel controllers. I managed to get a third motor working, by substituting the pin values for motor 3, then controlling it, using the motor 2 routine. If the library CAN handle more than two motors, how would I declare them? Can it handle 5 motors? Thank you for the video and the library. If fit my application exactly.

I've explained it fully. see if your board has pins left you can do it. change also the HTML page so you have controls for 2nd motor.

Thank you for the Information. I do have a Question tho. Would you happen to how to synchronize the 2 Motors. So both are doing the Same Thing? I am trying to build a DIY adjustable Desk :> And would need both paralel working.

you are we welcome. then you have only ONE motor. connect them in parallel, both + and - together. but if L298N can't handle both on the same output, then just define pins for ONE motor in the code and use the IN1, IN2, ENA of the motor driver both of them connected the same pins of Microcontroller (NodeMCU) so they both receive the same signal. No. This library is for ESP32 at the moments. I will write new code for ESP8266

Hello, just read the error " No such file or directory" it means you skipped the video, you did not install the library.

Hallo... What would be the right 12 pins to put 4 dc motors? I have so far managed to use 9 pins: 19, 18, 21, 27, 26, 14, 32, 25, 33. The other pins I tried them all ... I think.

L298d is called motor driver. If you have other driver with the same input types , yes it will work.

check my latest video and search for ESP8266. I have relay to turn it ON and OFF. if you want to use this module, then watch the video with full explanation and it would be very easy to keep it running at 100% speed. Watch it again without escaping.

Are you coming directly to this video? You have watch introduction and make sure you can print simple text in serial monitor and then http client. If it prints. The IP address then it is working. Make sure your phone or browser is connected to the same wifi .

it would be totally different code. you will not need CW and CCW, instead you will need on ON AND off. If you don't need to control the speed, then it would be very easy. using relay shown in this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/oIJ2t7mtXd3Tf7A.html is much better. but if you go with the same video, then go under this line motor1Direction =CW; should look like this motor1Direction =CW; //in CW direction delay(2000);//keep it running in CW for 2 seconds motor1StopState=HIGH;//stop the motor delay(2000);//keep it stopped for 2 seconds motor1StopState=LOW;//start the motor motor1Direction =CCW; //run in CCW direction delay(2000);//keep it running in CW for 2 seconds I have not tested but it should work. you should learn from this and watch the video multiple time so you learn how to customize it. I just checked the video making sure I have explained it. you can add delay(1000) for 1 second. Please watch the video and see how motor is controlled, then you can add delay.

wrong pins. only pins with ~ can control the speed. I have mentioned it.

Hi, then this is wrong video. you need to watch the introduction to ESP8266 and make sure you can do the simple project shown here kzread.info/dash/bejne/ooCq08puZ7eZo5c.html and then make sure you can control motors without WiFi which is show in this current video, then AFTER then you can jump to controlling over Wi-Fi. This is the best way I can help someone as I have no time and busy with life and family. But don't worry, I read all comments. Never miss anything.
