Excellent video ladies. It’s long but I will still watch it again! This is an updated and improved demonstration for putting together the cover with the architape and also creating the spine with some variants explained along the way. It is great to get this information in a clear way as your video skills, demonstration skills, hints and tips are improving all the time. I have a couple of questions, which I may have just missed while watching 1. Do you recommend any particular weight of card stock for the spine and pages? 2. How do you determine how wide your spine is going to be, do you need to give it a minimum space either side so the album will close? 3. How long do you suggest the card needs to be for creating the spine, is A4 sufficient or is larger required? Also can you add the products used under the video as there were several very useful dies shown.

Thank you Lisa. We are so pleased you found it helpful. In answer to your questions we recommend cardstock of between 240gsm and 300gsm for the spine and pages. It depends how many spine hinges you have and the gusset width between each spine hinge. You need about 1/2 inch either side of the spine hinges and then allow a 2 inch overlap onto the covers.
