You have to go up , disconnect the camera and do all that 💩 they are all like that you have to reset them in 2024😢😢😢

Omg! I have 3 cameras, 5 sensors for doors/windows, and 3 motion sensors. I have to delete and re-add those 11 all over again???? 😢😢😢

I followed all your directions, but when it came to the QR code the screen showed the code but it was greyed out so the camera couldn't scan it! What do I do?
I figured I had to delete, but thanks for confirming

Does it reset the playback
We upgraded our Modem-Router and would pick up old network. We removed all cams on ap. Then uninstalled and reinstalled app. Then added new device and it worked.

Do not delete device within app before resetting the camera. When it is re-setup, it will merge data.
Not a very smart system.

Why they make it so difficult to change WiFi? You should change WiFi without going through all that😊 I hope some camera company is listening?
I’m sorry didn’t work for my Wyze Pan Camera I tried several times
Mine doesn't even flash red nor say ready to connect after the steps. Continued anyways, got QR code and the stupid thing won't read it. Tried with Android phone and iPad. Won't work

Try scanning the QR code in an area that isn't too bright, when your phone screen is too glossy, the camera sometimes is not able to read the QR code
Delete the camera and re add. Saved you 20min

It is a cheap, value for money smart camera that does the job most of the time. I didnt face any major issues, but I have read comments where users have faced issues. If the seller you purchased the camera from does have a return policy, try and see if the cameras work for your use case. If not, you could avail a refund

@blinqblinqtech luckily I purchased it on Amazon and only for 12.99 due to the prime deal and having my discount 🙌. I hope it's great, I really need something that will record 24/7 due to recently moving in a trailer and the area is so bad. Someone stole an entire engine out of someone vehicle and there's no cameras or footage here.

Ah unfortunately wyze doesn't allow 24x7 recording in the traditional sense. With a microsd card, it can save 5 minute clips categorised based on time of day and you will have to manually export it to a pc to view the clips each time. There is a workaround for enabling 24x7 live viewing, by enabling a feature called RTSP. But it was a feature that Wyze dropped a good while ago and you will have to get a bit technical and flash an older beta firmware. But you will lose out on most smart features. I wouldn't recommend it, but if you are out of options I have a dedicated video up on the channel for that too.

@theresasuslik1609 hmm that's weird. Did you try maybe adding the camera using a different phone? A broken phone screen might cause issues It could be a hardware issue. How old is your camera? If your camera is brand new, try getting it replaced. If its old or if you got it used, then things can get a bit complicated.
Wyze camera connected to power supply is not getting charged, showing zero charging.

@hbmadhusudana hmm weird. did you try using a different cable or power outlet? Which wyze cam model do you have? You might need to get your camera checked
What if the new WiFi router doesn’t have 2G anymore? It only has 5G as the new “smart” routers don’t allow you to switch to 2G manually….

@user-kp6zn7yk6b there should be an option to enable dual channel wifi in your router settings. It will basically split your wifi into two signals, like a non-smart router You could also contact your service/router provider to help you with that
No difference than starting over with a whole new Camera.
Why won’t it scan. I’ve been on this for hours

@clemontinecanaday9895 try using a different phone. If youre still facing issues, then it could be an issue with your camera sensor. Get it replaced if your unit is new
