pro tip... If you have multiple Wyze cams, TinyCam has a "copy" feature that allows you to copy the credentials of an existing Wyze cam and enter it on another channel... that way you don't have to go through the process of adding another camera manually.

So I have the Wyze Cams V3 and I followed all the instructions to T, but it was refusing to work. I thought it was because maybe I needed to install that firmware from the past that allow the RTSP functionality but I was wrong. I kept getting an error called “AVAPI 20031” or something like that and also 401 Unauthorized something something, all I had to do was go to my Amazon Firesticks “Manage Installed Applications settings and hit “Force Stop” and “Clear Cache” and now all of the cams are showing up.

Can you do this with eufy camera they have a option in drop down. But not sure what to use Cloud doesn’t work I haven’t tried RTSP TCP ? UDP ? Not sure what they are

You have such great information...thank you! One question I have, before trying this, will it work if you have your cameras grouped on the Wyze app? For instance I have several cameras on an "outdoor" group all with individual names and several on an "indoor" group all with individual names. If they are in groups, how do I figure out which channel to use? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

That might have to be a trial and error thing for you with the groups thing. Maybe you just want to install TinyCam Pro on your tablet/phone so you have it to and ungroup your Wyze app? Might be a better alternative to keeping them grouped in the Wyze app. The best news David? Get the free version of TinyCam to do testing and just shift between channels. I feel like this won't work though and that I tried it long ago and it didn't. :(

I think it just auto adjusts based on cameras connected, but I think it goes straight to 4 from more than 1

Does your Fire TV need to be connected to the same router as your cameras for this to work? My TV is in the house and my cameras are connected to another router (bridged to the house router) down in the barn.

You can Flash to RTSP on Wyze Cam V2 and Pan Cams, which would help turn them into a device that you could read with a closed circuit kind of system. They'll still require WiFi, so you'd have to broadcast with a router/switch. It's gonna get too complicated I think...but that's your start. You're likely going to have to start with better/more expensive cameras.

I'm thinking, how incredible it would be if by having a WiFi portable router in my van/car I could setup 4 of these cameras and stream them to a cloud storage service. Ah! but I can always dream. Most 12v DC CCTV systems on the market have been designed with trucks, and buses in mind. Not cars and vans. I searched high and low for a compact, low cost solution, but there's simply nothing out there. Where are all my 'smarty pants' American cousins with the skills when I need them. Someone will figure this out eventually. Greetings from Scotland!

You could run the wifi off an inventor ( or seperate battery w inventor for when you arent in it ) and usb power the cams ?

IP Address has to come from the camera's actual IP in your home. You have to find that. Probably in the app, or in your router's WiFi device list.

You can try! There are certain ones that work with TinyCam. You can download the free version of the app and then check out the list. :)

Yep! Not sure about 6, but try it out and I think you might just have to move over or use something like ActionTiles to get them all on one screen instead.

It will show 6, but what I have found is the more you have showing the more often it gets buggy and you lose camera streams and have to check the status to reset. I have found with 4 up I have to do it a couple of times a day, with 6 I am resetting every 45 minutes. Was going to comment here and see if anyone knows how to fix that.

The new app is supposed to be popping that up. I've had luck coming back into the app after setting up the camera (unsuccessfully without 2FA) and then it requests the 2FA code and Wyze sends one.

It may be that you're choosing the wrong channel (the item number in the app)? If not, there's a delay or something causing the app to think it can't connect to your cameras. Sometimes security settings can do this.

I am planning substitute my ADT/ST panel soon with a Tablet to display a Sharptools dashboard to control alarm and home automation, then I am thinking about take this Tablet as a Tiny Cam Pro server also to get TinyCam Pro Web Monitor available (Wyze Cams V3) into mobile Sharptools dashboards via URL, so my question is if any Android Tablet works for TinyCam Pro to let Web Monitor working OK, or there is some of them with a better performance or some of them with problems issues ?...the smallest tablet...the better one for me.. I haven't checked if both are on the list. I believe Blink is, but download tinycam pro free version and pretend to add a camera. Anything on that list can be combined onto one screen, yes.

Hello, Yes it work. I have a mixture of about 20 cameras. Some Foscam IP. Some Wyze V3. And some Dlink The apps work like a charm. Too bad I don’t have this app in iPhone app as well. To replace my old apps on iPhone which was called LiveCams Pro

For me when it pops up on the TV screen my phone goes off with the "code" I hit the center circle button on the fire remote and keyboard pops up. I enter the code. Then it pops up again. I enter the same number. Sometimes it keeps popping up but I see all the cams showing in the background. I just hit cancel after that and it's all good.

I'm trying to set it up on Android and it certainly doesn't function like this. When I go to view, it prompts me to enter the 2FA but doesn't provide any means to do so, nor does it provide anything "clickable" to select. I'll grunt at it some more, grab a bigger hammer, consult the Google Oracle and see what I can figure out.

Not sure what part you're referring to, but this app can use 2FA with the Wyze Cams but it only does that so often. That will stop people from viewing then, but not always

just tried tinycam on my android tv, it had way to much lag. its faster to just have google stream a single camera.

It should just pop up on screen and then you should get a message on the phone associated with your Wyze account.

Easy set up but it doesn't work for me, in tinycam free it asks for username is this what Wyze calls Email? in my wyze account? Because this doesn't work for me.

It should just pop up on screen. It didn't when I did this because Wyze 2-step verification was just new but that's how it works now. Once you go to save the configuration for the new camera you should get a request to put in the code.

When I cast Wyze to a chromecast there's a huge delay and then it stalls out. How is the lag between live and the tiny cam display? Any type of casting solution or option for Apple devices?

Lag is mostly gonna be based on travel time from Wyze AWS server and back to you. My lag hasn't been bad personally on any Wyze Cam except on casting to Google displays. Apple, not yet.
