I have a Yamaha yas-93 soundbar I bought for £15 and it is quite good BUT I want more bass. I have a spare active Sony subwoofer that would be fairly well balanced (50watts) but the soundbar doesn't have a subwoofer output, only optical input. Do you know if an optical pass through box exists with an RCA breakout that i could use?

Hi , Very nice easy process . I have soundbar connected to eARC of TV ... But i want to plug in a aditional larger wired sub & turndown the wireless sub with soundbar to zero dB ... Will connecting the new wired sub directly to optical out port of TV will work this way ? Or There will be delay or lag in sound with soundbar & this wired sub ? If this works then do I have to change the sound setting in TV to PCM ? Because doing so from Bitstream I guess there won't be any Dolby Atmos decoding from the bar ? Pls help me with the right guidance , not sure ... Thanks !!

Hi I have sub that only outputs it has are phono. I've currently only got white one plugged in. The other end that same cable is going into 3.5mm sub-output on my right speaker. Then I have left/right stereo phono that's then going into same right speaker that other end just goes into tv headphones. Is it best connect sub from sub itself phono then go to toslink? Thanks Guys 🙏

New update, I coincidentally find how to make both TV speaker and digital audio out/Toslink sound simultaneously for Samsung QLED TV. - Go To "Setting", Then "Sound mode", then "Expert Settings", scroll down until you find "simultaneous optical output" and click to turn it on. Now both of your TV Speaker and any speakers or subwoofer connected to your TV optical audio out/Toslink, will sound simultaneously. - Another way you could set it up by using Bluetooth audio devices or Bluetooth Subwoofer (if any available in market). Go to "setting", then "General & Privacy", then "Accessibility", then "Multi-Output Audio", click to turn it on. Now your TV Speaker and any speakers or subwoofer connected to your TV will sound simultaneously.

Yes you can but TV speakers will not work. But sometimes there are internal settings in the Tv that let you play both TV speakers and headphone/aux out at the same time. In this scenario the headphone out remains at same volume and Tv speaker vol can be controlled with remote. I have a similar setting in one of the sony tv's. It is called Audio out(fixed).

Hello dear, a really excellent video with an excellent explanation, I wanted to ask you kindly, if you attach such a fiber optic subwoofer to the TV, will the TV always have its independent volume anyway? That is, can I turn up the volume of the TV without the optical cable excluding the audio of my latest Dolby Atmos TV as happens with the 3.5 RCA cable? Sorry if I write bad English, I hope you can me Understand and that you can answer me. In the end I would like to hear my dolby atmos from my sony bravia which has 4 very good speakers, but like all TVs we know that the bass is lacking a lot. HELP! Thanks a lot in advance, I hope you can answer me. Hello 😉👍🏻🔝
