Basically you’re not playing on your ps4, you’re playing on a computer. Not everyone has their computer connected to their tv. This is workaround. You’re not actually playing on your ps4.

It sadly doesn't since I've figured it out 😔 because I used my mom's windows computer and it had the white light indicating that it worlds and I tried it there and jt actually work, it won't work on chromebook sadly but one thing I did was buy a usb adapter cause a "Mayflash" which makes the ps5 controller usable on the ps4 but sadly things like haptic feedback and vibration won't work

Hey everyone. After over a year of trying to get my PS5 controller to connect through Bluetooth and after all my efforts, it still doesn't work! I've tried everything! my controller connects to other Pc´s and PS5´s and other peoples controllers connect to MY PC without a Problem.. no idea why my controller won´t. i´d be forever thankful if anyone could help me... i´ve been at it for over a year now... (P.s, there was a small window of time where it did work. But then it just stopped?)

it's stupid that today there is no compatibility between ps4 and ps5 controls... it's so stupid that being from the same brand there is no compatibility. apart on pc it doesn't work very well and on android the same. and it's pathetic because with so much technology it ends up giving xbox a drag being compatible with its two generations, pc, android perfectly. and sony sucks for this. that I cannot use my ps5 control on ps4 having more comfort, better battery, better bluetooth, faster charging by usb C, and above all that the battery will last me more years. Besides, the optical options could be applied to ps4 games. like gow2, horizon, ghost of tsushima, spiderman, etc. that that's just a file that ps4 can use too without farts. Apart from PC, it does not have perfect compatibility either and it is also stupid since today there are Sony games on PC and they should offer complete control of their controls with appropriate software to accommodate the buttons to an experience that PC users expect for control. with more advanced technology today
