Great thank you i have a question would this work if the drive is corrupted? Cus when i connect it to my working conputer it doesnt even show anything connected and it was power to it aswelll and cables are good too? If it still wouldnt read what can i do to get my old photos out of my drive ?

Hello. No, the phone won't do anything. It's like you're plugging a memory card into it. The phone's battery also does not drain, since you need to use an adapter to power the hard drive. Have a nice day ☺️❤️

Anyone who has a few old hard drives from their old computers probably still has a computer and would connect them to that. This is a waste of time for most normal people.

Actually, no. I don't have an old computer but I'm planning to buy HDD sata to usb to backup my phone instead of thumb drives or ssds because they corrupt very easily and I lose data on them frequently. Good old HDD can withstand the test of time & keep all my backup achieved for years to come without having to worry about data erosion or corruption. This video was what I really looking for it was very helpful.
