How do i scan documents on the printer itself instead of going back to PC to use the windows fax and scan service? is there any button i can click on the printer , scan it and direct to my pc?

Sure! You can even connect one of them via USB. All connections can be used at the same time.

Canon MF112 is a monochrome printer, which means it will print only in black.

mine don't do wifi weird and it's the same model and same as tge picture but it dont have the option to choose

Hi, i follow the same step try to connect the scanner to pc via wireless, but in vain :(. I downloaded the driver, and input the ip address, but it shows ip address cannot be found. Please help :(.

First connect your printer to your WiFi network. Then go to network settings and see what IP address was assigned to your printer. After that I'd recommend to disable DHCP otherwise that IP address will constantly change and you will loose connection with your printer.

Canon mf236 is similar to MF112 but it comes without wireless capabilities only Ethernet and USB ports. The same process of connecting though.

How do i view the printer ip address?

My Wired LAN worked for me. But the wireless LAN didn't work. Can i know why please

Why do you mean by driver controller? You can download the driver for this printer from the Canon's official website.

Install Canon print service app on your smartphone. And if your printer is connected to the same wifi network as your phone, you can go ahead and print what you want. You can print from the menu of Word, Adobe PDF, your browser etc

This has been such a pain in the ass process for me. I’m no IT guy, but I know enough where this shouldn’t be a damn issue
