  • @ElectronicsComputers
    @ElectronicsComputers16 сағат бұрын

    That depends on many factors like the type of fracture and your age. Of course, with a plate inside, your bone starts to heal immediately, whereas with a regular cast, it depends on how perfectly aligned the bone was and how well immobilized your arm is. I have no idea how it’s even possible to fixate your arm so it won't move and your bone has a perfect connection with the other part. I believe it's near impossible to achieve with just a cast in that area. It's always a good idea to get a second opinion from another doctor.

    @@ahadmughal1209 I'm not a doctor, and my opinion should not be taken very seriously. I read a lot about this topic, and I had two surgeries for installing and removing a plate, and I was in constant contact with my orthopedic surgeon, so I could ask questions about anyone's case. However, it was many years ago, and I don't have those contacts anymore. I think it would be more beneficial if you ask some doctors, even here on KZread; there are lots of them here. But I can say for sure that in the case of a broken humerus with complete detachment of the bones, surgery with the installation of a plate is typically necessary because a cast alone would not provide the required stability and alignment for proper healing.

    Would you recommend putty or pads?

  • @ElectronicsComputers
    @ElectronicsComputersКүн бұрын

    In some cases, we can only use thermal pads or thermal putty, and in other cases, either of those can be used. In the latter case, I'd opt for thermal putty because it can perfectly cover all components with different thicknesses and provide cooling to small chips as well, not only to the NAND and controller. Also thermal putty has way better specs than thermal pads.

  • @bungeeeperson

  • @ElectronicsComputers

    @@bungeeeperson Absolutely not. That thermal putty is not conductive, and it's very good that it can penetrate everywhere and transfer heat from all components to the heatsink.

    Nice content. If I'm using just a single phone, do i need a mifi since there isn't wifi available in my apartment and i watch most videos on my phone. Also is mifi connection more stable when dealing with online forms that don't do well with internet interruption? Also is it worth the investment of saving battery when i can just carry a power bank with me? What do you think?

  • @ElectronicsComputers
    @ElectronicsComputersКүн бұрын

    Well, if you just use your phone for everything, then it's 100% not worth investing in that wireless router. You'll need an extra SIM card and an extra plan for that. Plus, the speed coming from that router, as you can see from the video, will be twice as slow as what you get on your phone. Also, you introduce a potential failure device between your mobile carrier and the phone. Even if you sometimes need to check email from your tablet or laptop, it's still worth connecting to your phone's hotspot rather than buying an extra device. In my case, I use that small MiFi router for Alexa, my laptop, my tablet, and my phone. That router runs 24/7, and I never had any problems with KZread or Netflix. I even canceled my phone plan and just take that router with me whenever I go.

    @@ElectronicsComputers Thanks for the response. Do you put the mifi in your pocket when are walking. And how many hours does the battery last while in use. Does it not get hot in your pocket? Honestly, I'm just asking because before you reply arrived, I was filling an online form then I had a call, the internet timed out and I had to fill the form from the beginning. I'm just worried about usage, advantages and disadvantages even though it's proven that most likely phone Internet might be faster.

  • @ElectronicsComputers

    @@williamslifestyle227 I usually put that router into my fanny pack or backpack. Yes, it gets warm but nothing crazy. I never had any issues with the internet. 25 Mbps is enough for what I do. I even sometimes download big files, like 5-10 gigs, using a torrent app and the router handles it pretty well. The battery lasts for about two days, but it depends on how you use it. The reason I decided to buy that router is that I would kill my phone's battery in several months. Also, most phones, even when connected to a USB cable, won't run solely from that cable and the battery will still discharge. This router doesn't have such a problem. If it's connected to the charger, the battery will always be 100% charged.

    Misfortune has struk me again :( last month I used this to recover my tabs after a normal crash. But today my firefox crashed due to the new 127.0.1 update and I couldnt open firefox. I had no choice but to reinstall firefox. I looked at sessionrestore after I reinstalled but the files in there are basically empty. I was then going to restore the really old files from my older session but I accidentally did the process one time with firefox opened - now the old sessions wont restore. Is there any way for me to get my tabs back after un/reinstall? And is there anyway to get my REALLY old sessions to work again after having accidentally pasted them with firefox open? Also, is there any way to save tabs in case this happens again? Its not fair I lose my work TWICE because firefox is garbage! Please and thank you

    Ok, so I saved a copy of sessionstorebackup to my desktop. I can see the "previous" file from 3:23am this morning - which is the one i want to use to restore my Firefox tabs. But after that , I just don't understand this video. I need a clearer, slow, step by step walk through of how I re-open firefox using that file from 3:23am. At 2:39 in this video how did you run fFrefox to use that particular file? Please explain clearly and slowly.

    Simply remove all recent backup files from the sessionstore-backups folder. After that, navigate back to your profile folder (a folder with random letters and numbers) and delete this file: sessionstore.jsonlz4. Once these steps are completed, you can copy the old backup file into the sessionstore-backups folder and start the browser. If you need to try different backup files, you will need to repeat the above process for each attempt or each time you start and close the browser.

    @@ElectronicsComputers Thank you very much for replying. Good news: IT WORKED! This is perhaps the only video on the internet that explains how to do this, so I'm very grateful. It's a miracle that I did it because where you say (in your comments to me) "navigate back to your profile folder (a folder with random letters and numbers) and delete this file: sessionstore.jsonlz4", I couldn't see that file. But it seems that deleting all the recovery files in my current sessionstore and then pasting in my old file did the trick. Because I'm a "Dummy", there was another thing that I didn't understand at first. At 1:36 I thought you were immediately using the sessionstore BACKUP folder, but you weren't; you were in the original/current sessionstore. If I need to use your video again, hopefully I will realise that next time! I wonder if it also might be worth mentioning at 0:18 - that we need to turn on the feature of re-opening old tabs - by going to Settings\General\Startup and ticking the box. I was actually clicking HISTORY and RESTORE PREVIOUS SESSION every time I opened Firefox because I didn't realise (until now) that I could turn it on as an automatic feature! Anyway, thanks again for your video & your reply.

  • @ElectronicsComputers
    @ElectronicsComputers2 күн бұрын

    Removing the label will void the warranty and it doesn't make any real difference in cooling your SSD, but it's up to you anyway. Thermal pads act as a medium between the SSD and the heatsink surface. If your laptop doesn't have a heatsink, there's no need to apply the thermal pad as it will not hold on the drive without a heatsink. If the laptop's back cover acts as a heatsink, then it will work. Additionally, you can use some universal heatsinks that can be used in most laptops if there's enough internal space.

  • @ElectronicsComputers
    @ElectronicsComputers2 күн бұрын

    Not sure what you mean, but I guess it's about manual partition resizing. All cloning software can automatically resize all partitions to allocate new free space, or you can do it manually. Of course, we should do it manually because cloning software will also resize hidden system partitions which shouldn't be touched at all in the first place. These partitions don't need to be bigger because you simply lose some drive space for partitions you can't use or see. So, just clone everything as is, and then resize only the partitions that contain your information. Usually, it's just the C drive.

    can you make test power comsumption 2230 vs 2280 ?

  • @ElectronicsComputers
    @ElectronicsComputers2 күн бұрын

    Well, it's not that straightforward. Many people believe that 2230 SSDs consume less current than 2280 SSDs because they typically have fewer components like one NAND chip and a smaller controller, which makes sense in theory. However, in practice, it varies widely. From our experience in data recovery from SSDs, I can say that some 2230 models consume less power than 2280 models, but others consume more. The power consumption is influenced by various factors including Controller Efficiency, NAND flash type and density, thermal management, and even firmware version.

  • @ElectronicsComputers
    @ElectronicsComputers3 күн бұрын

    Well, I'm not sure if it's worth making another video, because the type of heatsink doesn't matter. If you put something flat on your SSD, you'll see that there's about 0.5mm difference between the NAND chips and the controller. You can use any pads you want, but the difference between the pads should always be 0.5mm to level that surface. For example, if you put a 0.5mm pad on the NAND, then you have to put a 1mm pad on the controller. Or if you put a 1mm pad on the NAND chips, then you have to put a 1.5mm pad on the controller, and so on. Samsung actually did the same thing with their heatsink version, but they went even further and applied pads with different thicknesses even to small chips. You can see it here: i.ibb.co/10HwmmQ/980PRO.jpg
