Bought all in your Amazon store (already had Action 4) so when you took DJI mic out of side that was DJI receiver you put on top with USB c to USB c correct?

My action 4 has a detailed mic level indicator bar, whenever I plug in a mic.

One other question, is there a setting in Action 4 when connecting mic or is it automatic detect?

would an external mic need an external power source or can you just plug in a mic and use it?

Good Video, Now all someone has to do is make an adapter or dual cord like the old cynovo so you can charge and connect mic.

The MKE 200 sounds like it pops when you cut the audio. My Rode video micro did that too.. so I only used it once outdoors. Its good for indoor use with no wind but it failed for me outdoors.

@@BullyOG you can use the existing USB c plug of the fulaim and use pass through charging. From what I have seem it's the only mic to have that along with internal recording.

Hi, I wonder if you can help? I have a DJI Osmo Action 3. I bought a Neewer CM28 mic system, which looks identical to the one shown in your video. For the life of me, I cannot get it to work with my Action3 I have bought several leads, non seem to work... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Les

Same you have to remove the usb cable for speaker to start again which is annoying. One thing I love about the meetsummer x1 wireless mics I recently tested. Is that it has a phone speaker option which lets the speaker work on the action 4 while using usb mics

Did the FULAIM X5 is plug and play with OAC4? and is there any issues/problems with it's connection or interference? i just ordered 1 from amazon, DJI MIC is OP for me.. Greetings from philippines.

Yes plug and play and can be plugged into the side of it. I prefer mounting it to my cage and using a usb c cable though

Hah. Same cage and same cable as I use the Lark 150. Point of note the SmallRig cage has the cold shoe mount off centre, most have it in the middle. This means with the Lark 150 or something of similar size it does not obscure the record button.

Not ANY mic. I have an Action 4 and bought a Boya Lavalier mic and the Action 4 will not reconise it at all and I have tried everything to get it to work!

Two months ago, I bought an Osmo Action camera, since the beginning it had a focus issue. I took it to the authorized assistance, after inspection by the technician, he found that it had a focus issue, I left it under warranty, after two weeks they returned the camera without fixing it and did not give me another one. Advice, do not buy DJI brand camera, you will lose your money. Thanks

@@graphguy I live in Brazil. The service here is bad. I took it in for assistance again, after a month they gave me credit, I bought the Osmo Action 4, now it's perfect.

Hi. I recently got the Osmo Action 4 and couldn’t be happier with this camera. Now, I just ordered the AnkerWork M650 wireless microphone, and the receiver doesn’t fit (even removing the USB-C cover). Would the SmallRig cage solve this issue? Thanks!

It would work by adding a cold shoe to mount the Anker. You would then require a usb c extension cable or the usb to 3.5mm cable I recommend In this video.

none of that last 5min on a dirtbike. cables to long will catch on tree branches the mic vivrate out mics all to bulky all i found so far is the usb or 3.5mm mini mic UPDATE: using DJI Mic2 Bluetooth connected Gain set at -3
