    Hi LabanoAcademy! In the CRM Client Portal, the client's username will automatically be set to the email address where the invite was sent. The platform doesn't currently allow you to set the password for the user. Instead, they will need to create one when they register.

    Great explanation Tyler do you a common use case where this is useful? I can see it possibly where there is a collaboration with another service provider on a deal I’m wondering why you would give a client access?

    Hi DownUnderOzzy! A few use cases would be: - cases where your sales cycle is pretty long and the user may want to track progress/provide input - post-sales fulfillment/onboarding processes being exposed externally to clients - 3rd parties who are involved in transactions (ex: lawyers you work with often)

    Hi. Great video. Can this be used to build a partner portal? Scenario is where we a service provider can work with agents or resellers and they want to register deals then update these as sale progresses to the purchase order.

    This totally can be used to create a Partner Portal! First, you'll want to have them in your CRM as a Contact (ideally, a Contact Type assigned to identify them). Then, you can set up lookups from appropriate records to this Contact list. Lastly, when you're configuring their portal user type, be sure to identify the proper lookup fields to delegate them access to the right data.

    Hi Ryan. Nope! They do not need their own Zoho account.
