Gotta work on your weak side. I committed to switching my starting side when T8 came out to work on it and now I feel practically the same on both at this point. If you're able to at least do your b&b and key moves for your weak side, it frees up your mental stack to actually keep playing the game and not alter your decision making simply because you side switched. Who cares if you lose some games because you aren't able to do as well for a while? You'll be slowly eliminating your biggest weakness. If I can smell that my opponent HATES being on their weak side, my game plan is almost always to force them back to their weak side. Then, for most matchups, all I have to do is duck their throw and I win. And remember, the opponent wants nothing more than to side swap back, so it's quite easy to get the read most of the time. Seriously, I win so many matches just because I can immediately tell my opponent can't play on both sides. Check your opponents for this.

Hi Mishima Complex! Another banger of a video. Love watching and learning from your content. I would love to see you break down Ulsan’s Reina gameplay from his most recent ATL performance. Your perspective on his move choice and usage would be very interesting and informative to watch. Thanks again for the fire content!
You’re constantly elevating my Reina gameplay, doing analysis I don’t have time to do myself. Thank you so much man. Excited for this new one !
Hahaha, im dying, Ling's hypnotist stance: "Nobody got time for that!" XD. Your videos are the best
Because of you i learn so much even without playing the game . Your content really is a livesaver for weekend warriors😄.
"although my punishment is ass" 2:48 lol same here
xiaoyu moves at 5:03 that was serious and a lot of damage
Dont stop! Been watching this series and has been my favourite tekken content to watch! Please keep going!

Dope! Congrats on getting out of Blue ranks! I'm hard stuck at Kishin, but hope to achieve that coveted Gold tier in the upcoming months!
Closing out promo game with a Demon Breath is really refreshing =)
Great video, love the round by round analysis , very helpful
🎉Congrats and you played nearly flawless doing it🎉
My new favourite reina channel ❤ great content & analysis! I'm a OG Paul main (currently at Raijin) but I'm picking up Reina more n more because she is just sooo much fun! With her I've entered the blue ranks right now so shit is getting real, and your videos are perfect for me right now to learn from 🙏 thank you very much
Mishima complex Very Strong as a reina main
Your analysis and gameplay is nice too
just wanna say thanks for the videos, i just started fgc a few months back and i picked reina as my main and i was getting my ass beaten mon to sunday. but after watching your videos and picking up a few tricks here and there i only get beaten up monday to saturday now and get the ood win. thanks so much for you content!
Really good video. Hearing your thought process post match is super helpful Hope you keep making these
My goat Mishima Complex, what would Reina mains be without you
crazy awesome video! Just discovered you after picking up Reina! I'll be going on a binge!
Can't wait for the analysis against Yoshi! That flash makes me so cautious.
maining Reina now , ty for this tutorial
O.o is that ling kasumi from persona 5? cuz i dig it
This channel is god like
Holy moly round two vs Xiaoyu was a total beatdown
I wish I was as cool as you playing Reina 🙌🏻😮 you're so good ..thanks for great videos
I love these Analasys. I have actually been locking into P2 as I noticed that I go from "I can sorta play the game" to "lol what is a Tekken?" when I got side switched and now I actually feel pretty comfortable both sides. I now generally start on P2 as well. I found it generally helped me break moves and react better, though that might be incidental as I just leveled up my gameplay in general.

This is super important. If your opponent can tell you have a weak side, they'll exploit that and you've basically already lost.

@@BigDaddyWes yep. I went down like 3 ranks before I adjusted properly.
Thank you for this guide.!! I’ve started using unsoku more and lovin it..!!
most people dont realize not all lows have frames on hit. A prime example is db2 for reina, it looks meaty and plus on hit but your -3 or -4
this is a great video format. thanks for the video.
Reyna is surprisingly really hard to get good with after a certain rank everyone is wait for the FF2 and electrics aren't easy to hit on an opponent.
The Get me back to P1 got me xDD I started practicing both sides but since im playing on stick the P2 is much better for me. i have faster moves on P2.
I love that persona 5 cosplay on ling, violet from p5
You should really apply for the next Tekken Sajam Slam, love your videos
Now with tekken prowess boost, ranked is gonna change a lot for you, good luck!
lol that ling loves pressing buttons
Good stuff
You’re awesome!!!!
Today i start by learning to low parry without trying like the same as counting
More Reina gameplay
Damn, how do you do such fast transition unsoku -> CD -> raiden? I want to see your command history) what is your ID? I want watch some of your replays in game

You just need to press df while in unsoku, it immediately cancels it into a crouch dash
@espelhogamer

Just press df and to get raiden just do df,f2 during unsoku
This man is good
I'd love to see your inputs in these replays!
She kept ducking after you you enter sentai. I feel like when people do this it's because they expect either the chip from sentai 3 or the damage from 3+4. They are not actually reacting though, so quickly switching it up with sentai 2 is a good option to get them to stop crouching.

If they don't actively dick-jabbing my sentai. I'll have a field day 50-50-ing them. Unfortunately on most of my match people actively dick jabbing and challenging, so I go for other routes and keep sentai as a rare mix-up.
great stuff
Nice Kasumi P5 cosplay on XiaoYu player.
You need to showcase another character besides Reina for this lesson because she is primed for neutral game control, that's her and Heihachi's archetype.

Ramona Flowers vs Xiaoyu
congrats on the promo i have a question, how do you unlock the camera for your thumbnails? since photo mode isn't out yet. thanks!
I feel like I'm the only Reina that religiously uses her f1+2 and f3+4 roll mix-ups. I never see any others do it, and everyone who plays me says the same lol.
I wish i was good at noticing major mistakes I make, (ill just have to keep trying harder)
LET’S GO!

Reina is Diva 💜
Me completely calm against Xiaoyu play because she's my main and the number 1 matchup I practice with is Xiaoyu v Xiaoyu 😂😂

There's nothing to break down Feng is just busted 😂 you have to counter the player, get a feeling for when they're going to do what and always remember to punish shoulder and b1.

@espelhogamer punish with back 1? I always use down forward 2 to launch punish but I feel what your saying instead trying to counter the kit counter the players habits pick up on it and punish
Yooo what region do you play in?
Are you from oce? I’m seeing a lot of oce names here
I’m nowhere near the level of this Ling player, but I honestly honestly think the Unga bunga approach the mains of certain characters as well as the overly aggressive nature of the game is carrying a lot of these people. This ling player Has zero patience and it’s not at all how I would imagine high-level Tekken to look like

You only have to beat the opponent you're matched with. You don't have to play perfectly to win. They could've taken this set. Let's not pretend their strategy doesn't work.

Why does such a high level Xiaoyu do so many running 3... Especially when it's BEING stepped each time 😂
Wait, you can combo off of the guaranteed sentai 3 from ff2?!

one thing that im just curious about content creators, you make cool videos, nice tutos for reina players, you got a busted char, you seem to lab and theorize a lot (thats cool) but how going to tekken king is >? I thought u were like tekken god supreme minimum or someshit (even tho ranks dt mean everything). Theres some people going ungabunga to blue/gold ranks without even playing the game that much. That should be an easy task. Thanks for the videos tho i like this format

Mishima complex? ❌ Reina complex ✅
Ofcourse reina has the best neutral in the game 😂 good thing she got nerfed so that opponents can have room for defense
ff2
Ff2
How? Ff2 and spam strings that can go across the map, dodge hits automatically by crouching and rolling forward, crushing even mids, and mid natural mix ups. Who needs a guide for that? Reina is broken for neutral. She is pre nerf devil Jin in heat but all the time. Like victor with his stupid Wr2.
tekken 8 "neutral" lmao
@WeMissDimebag
2 ай бұрын
Yeah I was gonna say, neither of these players are really trying to play much neutral. They’re just speedrunning into mixes. Easy to ‘dominate neutral’ when your opponent never blocks or alters their patterns.
@BigDaddyWes
2 ай бұрын
@@WeMissDimebagAre you saying forcing mix ups isn't controlling neutral? You think you're just supposed to use pokes or launchers? Or do you just wait for your opponent to do something stupid and call that dominating neutral? Backdash all the way across the screen? How would you describe dominating neutral? What do you think neutral means? I can't think of a better way to create an advantage when neither player has one than make your opponent guess. Especially with Reina or Ling. I just don't know what you're saying.
