It's not a bad name though. Only thing is it kind of limits the kind shoes you can sell. Black sheep coffee sounded great. I can see that being sold in whole foods. 😆

Hey, I’ve been looking at tutorials like this for a while and this is probably the only one that helped in some sort. I’m currently trying to find words that relate to my company-in-planning’s values (basically just making good games and treating both customers and employees like people). Not sure what I should be looking for though. Plus I just realized I could use my last name if I really wanted to, considering “Snapp” is pretty catchy. That’d probably be a last resort though.

Glad to hear that our video has been helpful! We recommend writing out a long list of words that may relate to your business. Review those, add more, and then start selecting some that are catching your attention. You can also have your slogan relate to your business to give your business name more context!

The frustration is that whenever I come up with a business name I love and everyone approves, I find out that someone else is already using that business name to offer the same exact services that I am. Often times if the name is not taken and I am able to find the domain name, it is parked and someone is selling it for $2,000 or more so I end up passing on the name altogether. I am going to check out the name generator and see what comes up. Thanks for sharing it!

It's good that you're picky! You should love your business name, not settle for one that isn't perfect for you. Have you tried shortening words, like turning "Bottle" into "Botl". Or maybe combining two words you like... for example, "Sparkful" or "AudioCast". When you feel like you're running out of ideas, search for inspiration around you, and just jot down everything you can think of. Hope that helps, and good luck with your business!

Andre's Construction as a service based name contradicts your point about standing out. When a person searches construction, how many businesses will show up? If arrange flowers and put the word flower in your name, your biz will show up in with a plethora of other businesses
