The first second of an Easy Sheets video is equal to the euphoric anticipation of hearing about a great movie from your friends then the day comes when you see it yourself. Never knew watching an Excel Master would be simultaneously jaw-dropping and awe-inspiring.

While I didn't learn it from this video the Vstack Filter combo is great, and you can easily use it on files stored in a different networked drive. Saved my bacon! The more people who know, the better!

It's also faster in loading, than using Power Query to bring it in as a table. Especially coming from multiple workbooks.

Helpful when you want to edit a specific sheet without scrolling for too long.

The original sin was splitting the data across the sheets in the first place.

Referencing the version, such as Insiders Beta of Office 365 is a caveat, as not everyone has it. Though there is a free tool to upgrade.

All these new functions are so time saving, recently I finally decided to get the 365 subscription. It's turned out to be cheaper than buying the physical software only for it to be outdated in a couple of months.

Would this not work without the filter if you just format the tables as tables? This is the second video I've seen from this channel, both are using undefined tables where formatting as a table would reduce the complexity.

If the data on the other sheets are formatted as table then you don't need the extra space by dynamically targeting the table column it'll grow automatically Also instead of filter try using sort instead it would dump your empties to the bottom of the list

you should mention that this function only available to excel for microsoft 365

A few months ago I got sick of having to export csv’s from a vendor for daily reporting at my job and having to append them together. Found out we have api integration with that vendor and decided to learn SQL. Wrote a query for it and now I just have an auto refreshable dashboard in power bi, saving me a ton of time each day. Only downfall? I’m now the “data” guy for my department and busier than all hell.
