I'm a huge fan of the Purefoods Star Hotshots (formerly San Mig Super Coffee Mixers) and their game last night against the Alaska Aces was a great blowout win. They moved the ball really well ala Atlanta Hawks or San Antonio Spurs in certain possessions.

Brilliant video and awesome talk - especially on HOW to get players into an offence. Something I definitely agree more coaches need to do. The development aspect is often forgotten in major leagues, and that too often filters down into the "catchments" of high school/college basketball these days. A win driven system will always do that - but this shows you can have both if you have a good system. I don't know about you Coach, but when I played in the triangle, we never got many 3s out of it, except on weakside skip passes or the occasional kick out. Is that maybe why it's not played so much in the NBA today, where 3s are more valued than ever?

I wanna make a film one day that follows two college basketball programs. One is the perennial juggernaut of the major conferences and the nation as a whole, the other is a rebounding mid major from a bad rebuilding season the year before who becomes the perennial juggernaut of the mid majors. They both go undefeated and meet in the national championship. Both teams would receive equal treatment regarding screen time as we're following both stories. The main conflict between the two teams is with the major team, the immense pressure of living up to expectations due to their recruits and dealing with the media circus they draw, and with the mid major, dealing with being disrespected being called "not for real" for their status as mid major (it won't be outright stated, but it will be understood this is the reason why) and quieting detractors by winning. The main question I'm trying to ask: who would win? The nation's best team or the world's greatest mid-major? A big focus will be how both teams run, using actual offensive sets and defensive schemes Coach, your videos are amazing with teaching how to run an offensive set and using the smartest defense schemes, so these videos would be extremely helpful with teaching actors how to run sets. Thank you for these.

If you want to know about it, type in Michael Jordan hit Steve Kerr (that is the most famous one) and type in Michael Jordan hit Will Perdue (lesser known one it was confirmed by various sources and most recently by Horace Grant in an interview). The fact of the matter is Michael Jordan was NOT A NICE GUY! He was NOT A GREAT TEAMMATE! Just cause he was the best ever, doesn't mean he was the best at everything.
