Same! Although I sometimes think about my ex-husband, I literally can't feel his energy anymore. We've only been divorced for a year, but it feels like a decade. I can't even remember what it feels like for him to be in my home. It's definitely wild.

I have felt chords and they are the hidden reason behind my mood swings.

I think it helps to explain the feelings of random paranoia or fear or any other misplaced emotion for the situation... you're feeling someone else's energies. As an empathic person, this is esp necessary to do bc we open our energy fields to others so often, at times to our own detriment. This is necessary. I'm doing the guided mediation tonight, wonder what others results are afterwards?

This totally worked, I have a friend who I love dearly, but she is not good with her money, meaning she would take advantage of my help, like I don't mind paying when we go out. However she would make me feel some way. so I did this cord cutting method and literally within 4hrs she surprised me with dinner yesterday and paid for us to go out today. She is a good friend and sweet girl, her only issue is that she would be a burden when it came to money. Anyway I am very thankful for this working.

This was the first meditation where I was FULLY there, I saw everything so clearly. I cut some tough heart and root cords connected to someone, and am left with nothing but unconditional love. I felt like I was floating, words can explain the experience. My vibration has been lifted. I am so blessed for these awarenesses and to live this life.

It's Sept.'19 and I came across this in recommended videos, timely as it's been on my heart. I had a 35yr friendship that I departed from 3yrs ago. The departure wasn't consciously agreed upon, incidental during argument. Maybe we both knew it was time. But the ties have been felt. This along with a few other cords I was ready to cut. On a sidenote: My daughter who is now 17 told me out of the blue at the age of 4 that she believed there were strings between all people. That when you thought of them, you could send love through those strings. I think she said they were gold. At that time, I spoke nothing of such things....wasn't engaged in any esoteric thinking etc., nor did we associate with anyone that did. She was like that as a child, like an old soul that would suddenly pour out wisdom least expected. Thank u for ur heart, new to your channel and loving the content :)

My now 18yr old that I spoke of is a grad this yr and with the world as it is and like us all...she's being challenged on all fronts to walk in the spirit like she did as a child. She's doing so well, a beautiful soul I'm proud to know. That old friendship just surfaced this week, she posted to my daughter after seeing photos on FB....a manipulation to get to me. It’s crazy how some people that we break up with many years ago can still come into our minds- even if we’re happy in another relationship, even if we think we’ve gotten a little closure from it, even if there are no mutual friends posting pictures of them and reminding you.. I believe that’s a type of energetic cord.

I think it is also important to mention that when you don't feel great after a cord cutting session maybe there is something that you should work on emotionally so that you can let that part go, instead of ignoring it but really dive deep and free yourself from all that is holding you back. I did something intuitively when a female friend became verbally insulting towards me. Imagined pulling out all strings out of my heart.

It’s now been a bit of time since I left an abusive relationship and I am still feeling a strong belly and empathy connection to him like my subconscious believes that I am responsible for his happiness. Thank you so much for your video! I just got back from a psychic, who suggested I perform a cord cutting ceremony, and I wanted to research it a bit before I decide on a ritual that's most effective for my own perception; and something in your video's background, with the strings and beads and feathers, gave me an idea. Instead of just tying a piece of string together and cutting it, I thought: What if I choose an item, or a series of items, to decorate a string with; and I hold that item in my hand, and energize it with the energy of this attachment; that item then becomes a symbol, a memory of everything gained and lost during the attachment. As I grab a ball of string, it symbolizes the universe; and as I tie the end of the ball of string to the item, it symbolizes my first connection with this entity; and then I take the string in my hands, and cut it; severing the bond, and creating the end of that connection. (And then it can be decorated with things that represent intense memories, or left plain.) Then make a loop at the end, and tie a knot. This way it can be hung on the wall, to serve as a physical and psychic reminder that the connection is now cut, and energy lost is now being returned.

This was amazing, thank you so much! 🙏💖 I'm a Pranic Energy Healer and one of the things I learned about cord cutting is you can also pull the cords out from the root, cleanse the wound and seal it back up with golden energy. It can be a little more intense but, you always gotta ask permission. If they truly want to no longer connect with that other person, past life situation or whatever it is, than removing it from the root can be the best way, but again, only if they truly want to. Simply cutting the cords is alot more gentle 😊💖 Esspecially if you're out and about and you cross paths with someone emotionally threw up on you, simply cutting cords helps you feel so much better right away. I hadn’t heard the term “cords” before watching your video just now. I did a guided meditation today that asked me to imagine the person I was looking to cut toxic ties with standing in front of me. Then I was told I could imagine the connection in any way I would like, and to visualize letting go of that tie on whichever way was comfortable. Could be a shape, light, shadow...and then melting, blowing away, or any visualization that is guided by your intuition. I visualized wet, heavy ropes that were connected by our rib cages and hearts (I’ve been feeling a heaviness and physical pain in my chest with regards to a relationship in my life) Then I imagined scissors cutting the ropes (or cords) and the weight being lifted off my chest. You posted this video on your Instagram story today, and it was striking to me how similar your visualization technique is! A wonderful synchronization and further introduction to listen to before I fall asleep. Thanks for sharing. Love.🌻

Thank you for sharing this video! Sometimes the connection was so strong that I could even feel their pain when they were sick. For example: sore throat. I felt the symptoms in my body. There was a person that everytime I spoke with her, she sucked my energy and I absorved her low energy. It was horrible. She was always complaining everytime we spoke. And it came to a point where I didn't want to speak to her anymore because I was not comfortable. So I had to let her go. And now I feel good light.

I had a conversation yesterday with a friend who asked me why i was not talking to a mutual friend anymore. And i realise that this person was supposed to be my friend, but maybe not forever. Heather you are so lovely! Thank you for this video and explanation. I related to everything you said. I’m an empath and I feel cording strongly. Getting out of a toxic romantic relationship where I had a strong psychic connection and cording. I could literally feel physical experiences or emotions from him at a distance. It was proven time and time again. He could do the same with me and he shocked me on more than one occasion by telling me what had happened to me during the week even naming people I had encountered. Unfortunately, and what a bummer because it was so intense, but it isn’t a positive relationship. I’m going to use this video to help get free, and to move on.

I chose to watch this video because it was the only one that didn’t promote fear of actually cutting them in the title. Thank you for pointing this out.

Such a wonderful video Heather with soo many great points throughout it. I have been doing a lot of cord cutting this year and it feels amazing! Besides the spiritual aspect of this, it also reminds me of what I have learned in quantum physics about multiple dimensions and quantum entanglement. Besides cords being connected in your present physical plane. Some people might have powerful cords connected to themselves in a parallel dimension which was formed at different circumstances in there life when they were not able to make a decision. Similar to the movie Mr. Nobody when Jared Leto was not able to make a decision between going with his mom or dad, which ended up creating multiple existences of both choices. I think one sign of a connection like this would be if you still have regrets of a choice you never made. As long as you live in regret about that other choice you could be powering that alternate dimension with your energy. So if anyone reading this still has regrets about a decision you never made it would be highly beneficial to take Heathers advice and cut those cords so that you can take your power back fully to you in this dimension. I'm married and a lot has happened between my husband and I. So I decided to cut the negative cord between us even if we are not broken up. The next day he had a dream I was dying and he couldnt get to me. He then said that's how he would feel if I wasnt around and he feels grateful I'm here. I think maybe it helped us or is helping us get closer again and finally move past our past mistakes with each other. But I was wondering if he has to cut the cord also or if its completely gone by just one of us doing it? Either way we have most likely created a new and positive cord now since we are still together.

You do have to be careful because when you cut they come back. I had that unfortunate situation. But for me I'm not married. He asked another girl to marry him 2 weeks before coming back in my life. I got rid of him then cut the cord when i realised and that he is not healthy for me

Awesome experience. Maybe it was old resentment that you had toward each other. Glad u cut off what needed cutting to allow new growth or new association with your hubby. Happy for you!!

Also, my experience is with some old friends that I loved as brothers. As I grew spiritually into the 4th dimension to transition fully into the 5th, which I’m still working on, I realized that our friendships were toxic for my well being. So I cut them out of my life. I learned that I am a empath recently and so I read some books on how to condition myself in society so that I may contribute in a healthy way to myself and others...I still feel hurt and anger towards them, but also feel it towards myself. I thought that I was hearing their negative thoughts about me and feeling those things as well, but this video has explained to me in detail exactly why that is. Before watching I had chucked it as just my empath ability going wild or something. But now that I have this information, I will do the meditation you suggested and just continue bettering myself. So thank you for explaining all of these things to us!

Jason smith Empath: The Science of Highly Sensitive People by A.C. Drexel, and Empath to Mystic by Aaran Solh. I’m going to read the second book though.

I just cut the cords with one of my former school bullies. I feel exhausted but relieved and also a little lost and unstable now.

I just dissolved some major cords with my ex boyfriend and during the meditation the telepathy kicked in. He" "you dont have to do this" Me: "Then what do I do???" [I've been getting this memories, emotions, pain, trauma vicariously] Him: "Love me" Me: "thats what I've been trying to do" Him: "then let me go" and the heart cord dissolved. Oh my it was painful, I cried and cried but now I feel we're two islands in the same bay instead of islands linked by a land bridge. We became very codependent. We're Aman Cara aka Twin Flames and now there can be a new beginning WITH the memories but they're in the past. Without the emotionally negative charge, the pain regret misery etc. Still have the telepathy and long distance empathy but as said in the video, now its just me in my energy. I can send love across the connection instead of carrying the stuff he is processing at the same time. We have our independence of self

This gave me chills I'm in a codependent situation myself and it's so hard 😭 But one question now that it's been a month do you feel better? His my soulmate but we're completing a karmic cycle n this is a karmic relationship n I've learnt my lessons so I just don't know if I cut it and then we work things out will it work or I'll just fall back into the karmic cycle?

@@ethereal946 dissolving the cord doesn't mean you lose the person. It means neither of you are then sucked into each other's inner worlds and can be independent

@@ethereal946 im working on it. It makes the pressure to rely on the other person and feel the need to desperately cling to them so intense, so yes it helps heal codependency. But you also have to heal the root causes for why you have codependent behaviors, feelings, compulsions, tendencies etc.

Just did this with someone I had a strong chord with (wrote a book about him, still dreaming of him after almost five years). I envisioned him in front of me, and once I cut chords, I saw him crying. I smiled and wished him light, and i felt that he knew he was going to be okay. I cut chords with another person who seemed unphased by the process, but I felt freer. Very powerful.
