HOW TO CLEAN Your RV Air Conditioner | Full-Time RV Living Maintenance Tips

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Even if you are chasing 70 degrees on your RV adventures, you will STILL need to use your RV air conditioner sometime during the summer. Will it be blowing cool air, or will it be blowing warm air? To help you stay in the “cool air only” lane, you MUST give your AC units some much-need love and attention. Regularly maintaining your RV air conditioners will not only keep you cool but will also extend the life of your AC units.
Dust, dirt, pollen, and cottonwood fuzzies, in our case, all combine to block your airflow and prevent your RV air conditioning from running at peak performance! Assuring your RV AC is running at its best is quick, easy, and only requires some basic tools. But it does require you to get up on the roof, which might be out of your comfort zone. You can pay someone else to do this or tackle it yourself, but either way, you need to do this at least twice a year!
Take care of your AC, and your AC will take care of you.

Ugh Cottonwoods lol. We call them money stealers. That is what we call them as kids. We use the same stuff on ours. Very good detailed video. Wow that is dirty. That is crazy. I never knew all this stuff about Paul until we went on the road and the different colors that it is. In Texas. It's green and it worries me how much of that is in my lungs since our vehicles were always covered every morning. Who makes your ACs? Another great video.

The level of pollen was incredible in Michigan. We thought the ACs would be dirty but they were much dirtier than we even imagined. The middle one, not shown in the video, was the worst since we run that one the most. The ACs are Coleman Mach.

Whew, the cottonwood and pollen. We haven't cleaned ours, now I'm scared to even look under the cover 😬. I like the bucket idea to bring everything up on top of the roof, very clever. Great video, thanks for sharing this.

Thank you!! Cleaning the AC is critical to keeping it working efficiently and even though it will probably shock you when you look under the cover, you'll be glad you did! Thanks for your comment!
