Video Transcript:
Hi, I'm Jennifer Elliott with enmarie™ and I'm going to show you How to wash and care for your Dry Brush. How frequently you wash your dry brush really depends on how frequently you use it. If you use it daily, then you probably want to wash it somewhere between eight and ten weeks. If you rub the bristles and there is alot of debris coming out, then you know its probably time to wash your dry brush. So the way I do this. I like to use a just a gentile castile soap. I love Mrs. Myers dish soap. And I start by just putting a very small "dime size" drop of soap on it. And I rub it around until it gets a little sudsy. Maybe add another one. There we go. Get it a little moist with some warm water. You're just going to want to take your fingers and sort of scrub and rinse it well. Try to rinse all of the soap out. I try to avoid the wood area if I can, because it will eventually crack over time if it continually gets or stays wet. Sort of shake off the water, as best you can. And then when you dry the brush... you want to put it in a dry place, sometimes I will set it on top of my dryer actually. Where it is warm and I put the bristle sides down.

Yes, the brush is best-stored in a dry place, away from any moisture (shower or bathtub).

Hi Bharani, make sure it is in a cool, dry place. I usually store it in a drawer. Be sure not to leave it near a water source (such as a shower, sink, or bathtub) where the moisture might eventually harm the wood. Thank you for asking! Jennifer

It really depends upon how frequently the brush is used. If it is used every day, then yes, 8-10 days. But most people typically only use the brush 2-3 days a week, in which case it can be cleaned less frequently.
