    The double hand method is priceless and has saved me many times. Seeing this technique again reminded me of houses with pet hair on the inside glass. I would scrub the window down, and then do a fan with the strip washer to pull the pet hair down and off the glass. It helped a lot.

    STEEEEVOOOOO!!!! I use 2 trad poles one with mop and the other with squegee THAT WAY I SPEND LESS TIME SWITCHING BETWEEN MY TBAR MOP AND SQUEGEE , I DONT USE THE FLIQ PAD ANYMORE, I always redunk my mop AND no rinse for each window TO GET AS MUCH WATER (SOLUTION) ON THE GLASS , I dont use dawn soap anymore I USE WINSOL APC 100 2 CAP FULL FOR 3 GALLONS OF WATER AND 1 CAP FULL SUPER SLIP. LESS DETAILING AND NO SOAP STREAKING LIKE DAWN.

    I think the problem is that the newer Fliq pads actually hang a little lower than the old ones, putting the squeegee a little higher instead of more center on the pad. So there is still water in the bottom part of the wash pad but it isn’t being pressed to the glass.

    In the 3 years I worked for Fish, I had a lot of high glass that I had to clean in direct sun using only an ettore backflip and unger super pole because that was the equipment given to me. I had to basically wet about 2ft of glass, squeegee, then 2ft more, squeegee, repeat... Pain in the ass and tiring, but a great workout lol.

    Hey mate. I'm about 2 months into my busniess now and stuff is going well. Still gaining customers regularly so getting closer and closer to paying the bills each month. How do you do straight pulls without leaving any streaks? Just leave a few mm of dry glass at the top?

  • @alanweak

    @alanweak

    3 жыл бұрын

    Leaving that dry zone at the top as well as feathering the top and making sure that you angle your squeegee on the way down. If you do all of that but still have streaks/lines, maybe check if it's time to change your rubber. If the glass is hot, you may have to only wet about a 2ft width of glass, pull down on that, then wet the next 2ft of glass, pull down that, and repeat... Hope this helps!

    I'd use a hose. When I house wash roofs I cool it down with water before I spray the chlorine on it. With windows you could do the same. Why don't you window washers use a soap dispenser and wash the entire outside structure? Laundry detergent with vinegar works perfectly.
