Don't even use this type of vacuum but you make everything so interesting to watch

Now it's working, you can vacuum up that giant hairball and up back at square one.

This helped so much! I had no idea how to do this before and the technique even works for my new cordless vacuum. ☺️

Thank you for showing us how to clean underneath the vacuum. I cleaned mine as best as I could, and there was a marked improvement in the suction.

I've been cleaning my brush with it on the machine. I was looking for another clue on unclogging. There wasn't a clog that way so I checked my brush which had a clog. I cut with the scissors with the roller still attached but it didn't get the complete hairs out so... so glad I found your video on how to clean the brush the right way. One unclogged machine now. Thank you so much and the other guy whose video helped too.

@@mirfir baha right? I’m a woman with knee length hair and I shed worse than my dog lol.....I never let my vacuum go a year but it gets pretty bad, I’d say at least half as bad as this in about 2-3 months depending on how much I’ve used it to clean with

This is pretty much the way I clean these, I used to have carpet where the edges frayed a little and got caught in the brush, and bought a few used units from boot sales in past, most difficult one was a unit that didn't have any suction, had to take the back off and the actual internals where the electronics were were caked in dust and dirt, after it was all cleaned out it worked as new or almost 3 years after until the problem came back.

There is very good VAC cleaning brush that's help to cut the hair and you don't need to use a scissors.

Looks like a bagged vaccuum cleaner, today manufacturers make it far more difficult to remove the brush on newer vaccuums.

....bit like calling my tv an LG... also, don't your misses get arm ache lifting that vacuum above her head?

It's much easier to just run a razor blade down the roller. You won't do it any harm. You'll just make a small line in the plastic tube from the cut. Instead of cutting with scissors for 5 minutes. You can slice it all off in seconds.
