I've tried almost all major brand chain lubes including Motul, Putoline, Yamalube, etc., but the best one I would say is Rolon White Chain Lube. It lasts long (700-800km) and doesn't get displaced by water because it is wax based.

I was searching about chain cleaning and my favourite youtuber uploaded a video about it.❤

i clean my chain the same way u did in this video. but one important thing to mention here is please cover your break disc while spraying diesel on Chain because while spraying diesel some sprinkles will definitely going to stick on your disc plates and if it does your breaks won't work anymore. i did this mistake and then i tried everything but was unable to get rid of that diesel lubrication on my disc plates.

First of all I don't understand why manufacturers stopped giving a fully covered chain case like in commuter bikes. Is it because we teased them as uncle bikes? Now what is so sporty about not having a fully covered chain on sports bikes. Bikes that have more BHP, more torque, go for longer distances and tours but the most important part of the drive train is exposed to a the elements. Imagine servicing the bike, getting the chain cleaned and lubed and going on a long trip but your chain gets dirty with cow dung or dirt within the first 20km. What a waste of money. My covered chain lasted me 38k km with perfect smoothness except the last 1000km when some noises started coming, but was still smooth. I think we should start demanding covered chains

Anyway that Mr Genius comment was not required, I could've given a more sarcastic answer but I prefer to be nicer. My Unicorn 160 has a lovely fibre/plastic full chain case, no noise and light weight and fully functional. My friend bought a Yamaha FZ along with me, 150cc, he changed 3 chain-sprocket sets by the time i changed one. FYI. Same with another friend who bought a Gixxer 150 along with me. Very similar power and torque figures in all 3 bikes.

@@srinathtg4623 unicorn never had a high performance engine....it was /is a stylish commuter with bigger than regular engine . Your friend's FZ also didn't need a 140 section tyre but still got it , right? Lemme break your bubble, it DID needed that fat tyre, just like the open chain sprocket. Any bike that is meant to do more speed than usual, gets an open chain sprocket because they loosen out frequently and a cover will make the slacking chain slap against it, hence making all sorts of noises and further ruining the experience...And I've said "higher capacity bike" to make it easy for any layman to understand..and looks like I did the right thing😃 bro thinks every big displacement bike is as boring as his unicorn ☺

Bike ko on karke uske engine oil ko jaldi bahar nikalana sahi h. M jab apni yamaha ki bike ki 2nd service karane gaya tha toh mechanic ne kaha issey koi issue nahi hoga. Kyuki bike abhi gear m nahi h. Sirf idle start h

Bhai Lube krne ke liye engine oil sahi nahi hai. Jaise Video mai bataya hai gear oil use krna hai agar Motul ya koi bhi Chain lube nahi hai apke paas.

Bhaiya mera unicorn 150, BS-IV hain uspe jo engine oil lagti hain wo 10w-30w lagta hain but main soch rahah hoon ish bar fully synthetic engine oil se karunga but castol ka 10W-30W ki semi synthetic engine oil milti hain fully synthetic 10W-40W wala ata hain, so mera 10W-30W ki jagah 10W-40W dalna thik rehga?

engine oil will spill off from your chain on high speeds. engine oil doens't have that stickiness like chain lubricant does.

never use diesel in chain. diesel reacts with rubber and the orings will expand. use kerosene only. not expecting this advice from sr motoworld.

Diesel can be used because we do not put diesel overnight or for long time, it’s just for cleaning purpose and then it’s rinsed off with water. It also protects the metal from rust.

Yes, but it's the least efficient due to increased weight, that's why its only found in high displacement and heavy bikes. Chain has 3% drive train power loss, belt has 11%, and shaft has 30% power loss.
