I just did a 600 km ride in the rain and it’s been about 700km since my last chain clean and lube, was planning to order these products and do it so thanks a lot for your explanation on how to use these items.
Completely agree with your warnings. I was recently cleaning the chain using a cloth while the bike was in first gear and the wheel was running. The cloth slipped out of my hand and got pulled into the back wheel sprocket. Luckil I was able to stop the engine and remove the cloth from wheel sprocket without causing damage to chain and sprocket. Another thing I learned is that I need to allow for few mins after spraying the chain cleaner for the dust and particles to fall off the chain. Instead I sprayed the chain lube immediately. Thanks for this very informative video!
Did it for the first time by looking at the video... Very detailed 👏

Hi Deep , your videos are great and your smile is infectious 😊
I always give my bike for maintenance to a person who is automobile engineer. He said the reason to put you bile in gear is that the chain links and a round cover like thing on a each individual chain link get expanded and contracted when chain is running. So if you put bike in gear lube works great

Motul is best option. Have personally tried brands like 3M and Kangaroo but finally found Motul to be the best. And rightly said, while in city riding and in monsoon where one needs to lube chain more frequently, gear oil is better option and lighter on pocket too 😊. Nice video 👍

As this motorcycle has a traction control soo u puted that on Centre stand in a gear and rear wheel is rotating.. Which will blink your engine check light immediately... Did u notice that.. You need to off that traction control system first then u can put that in gear.. Still if Malfunction light 💡then u need to ride this atleast a 1km and switch off the engine and put it onn again check light will get offf... That's something that i experienced in my cb350.. May be this will help..

Agree with few comments.. Gear oil (80W-90) works best.
If you lubricate your chain with gear oil grade 80 every 1000 km,it will be a better solution than chain lube.

Hi , Am going from splendour pro to Royal Enfield, am 5.5 height, this is going to be my first royal enfeld experience, most of my ride time would be in city, i might take the bike to long road trips occasionally,I was thinking of buying either classic 350es or Honda Hiness. What would you recommend? I would take the test rides, however, please tell me one thing,which would you recommend classic or interceptor? For a first timer? There is new classic launched end of this year, should I wait for it or buy classic earlier. Please let me know Or should I just go with Honda Hiness

Yes you can go for it
Superb vedio bro👌. I have myself used motul lubricant and also gear oil (SAE 90 Grade motul brand). The problem with motul lubricant which I faced was it attracted a lot of dust and sand particles quickly. From the lubrication point it was good. Gear oil on the other hand is a cheap alternative and does the job well, but the problem with it is if you drive at speeds greater than 50kmph, it loses its grip over the chain. As a result it gets spilled near the engine sproket area which is not something I liked😉. Finally I choose castrol chain lube and kerosene for cleaning. Currently sticking to these until I find a better product to suit my preference.

Good video. Why is the idling so high?
@deepranjansachan
3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Actually when we cold start the bike, it runs at high rpm for few minutes to get the engine oil spread all over before running the bike. That's why we should always idle the engine 2 mins before riding.
