    You can run Vaseline around the rim and inside your cup. Paint nor epoxy will stick to it. You can wipe everything out with no issues.

    Big Guy Customs, also silicone oil (used in acrylic pouring) around the inside of the rim stops anything from sticking then wipes and washes out.

    I use tape on the inside of the tumbler, leaving the tape sticking up about 1\2 an inch from the rim and never get paint on the inside. But these tumblers are cute!

    Bless you for this video. I’m brand new to this, and I’m working on tumblers for nieces and nephew and just noticed all the spray paint that got inside. Found this wonderful video!

    great video, I cut my sponges (like the yellow one) and magic eraser into 4 rectangles so it will be big enough for the job and last longer. I loved your alcohol ink tumblers.

    Thank you for this video.. I am a Newby and I usually line the rim with painter's tape... I watched this video because I forgot to tape the inside rim of my latest tumblers and got paint in them. I was trying to figure out how to fix this issue. Thank you.

    You have to soak the magic eraser so it doesn't rip apart .. you can get 4-5 uses or more out of it. Thanks for sharing the video... and thanks to the other comments with added tips 👍🏻 😁

    You are very good at explaining in detail . I am new at this and just got after it yesterday for the first time . I jumped the gun for sure and should of watched your videos first. Either way I’m going out tomorrow to get some alcohol to prep the tumbler. I want to ask if you ever use mod podge before applying glitter

    Acetone because I’ve got too much to do. But the other comment or who says Vaseline/petroleum jelly sounds like a good idea. Have you tried this yet? If not, it’s been a while since this video sooo I’m thinking maybe someone reading this has 😁 Thanks for sharing 👌🌹✌️

    Love this! Just a question, I do a similar process as you when cleaning my rims and insides however I was always told that when removing the excess on the rim it’s breaking the seal and I would need to add another super thin layer. Is this true or can I skip that step??

  • @MissKissKreations

    @MissKissKreations

    4 жыл бұрын

    If epoxy is removed incorrectly , yes, the sea can be broken. Make sure you are only removing the epoxy from the rim. Not necessarily the lip of the tumbler. If you start seeing the epoxy separate from the tumbler, the seal has been broken and you will have to re epoxy

    Hey there. Looks like you didn’t seal The top your tumbler. You Have to Make sure you don’t have a little a gap between the epoxy and tumbler or the water will get in between and the tumbler will cloud
