When shampooing your client use lots of shampoo and scrub scrub the front hairline and back of the neck because people sweat so it needs to be clean and use the palms of your fingers to scalp massage yet clean it

The hair is fine with a good scrub, that's really the only way to clean hair. The shampoo is only half the cleaning process.

Same here I didn’t notice lathering either .. one time instead of going to a barber .. a beautician cut my hair .. and she was old old school , well in her 70s pink uniform and the white shoes… there I was 20 jeans T-shirt and steel toed work boots! Lol !.. anyways , she gave me a very thorough shampooing .. shampooed me twice , I could feel lots of lather on my head , and she was very firm scrubbing my head. Not rough.. was a shampoo I never forgot .

don't judge me im creepy + for sure creeped out myself - i felt like the guy was doing this to me, cause it feels like a scalp massage when the people wash your hair idk don't HATE

i shampoo exactly like this and i get told im too rough...

Wtf? Use more shampoo, imagine if he used that method on oily scalp, it would turn oily in hours. She has middle lenght and thick hair, she needs more shampoo than that. Shampoo around the hairline first and back of your neck, then over your ears and the rest afterwards. Only shampoo once unless your hair is really really greasy or if you have used alot of products lately.

there is no lather

He didn't get any lather. He should have shampooed her hair at least twice and gotten a good cleansing lather followed a thorough rinsing. He introduced her as beautiful. Her looks should have nothing to do with giving a good shampoo.

I wouldn't enjoy him shampooing my hair! There's no clip on the towel, no cap to stop water drenching my clothes, not enough shampoo, too rough when scrubbing, didn't bother to comb the hair, jumps straight into conditioning with only one shampoo rinse. Not good. I would never step foot into that saloon!
