How To Clean Bird Poop Off ANYTHING Safely

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Hello everyone welcome back to a remastered video with new tips on cleaning poop off anything! Over the years I of course have discovered new methods to deal with poop and new devices to make it easier as we all know they poop everywhere, we clean all the time and I just want to share how to make it as easy and less laborious as possible.
You can find the steam cleaner on amazon, this is the one I specifically used:

    It’s great in the warm months when I can blast the cage with a hose, but like you said, not too feasible in the winter. I will have to try vinegar, I’m shocked how quickly that came off! Loved Luza in this one. So good so good 😊

    If I could have weather to blast the cage with the hose my life would be so much easier 😂 vinegar works so easy too though! ☺️

    Yall can also use papertowel and/or newspaper under any place that they perch. Makes cleanup quick and efficient. In my room I have put a laundry drying rack near the window because my birds like looking outside and the rack offers them many perches outside of their cage. Under it, i put newspaper and it makes cleanup very easy. I also recommend have a little handheld chargeable vacuum for any debris outside of the newspaper. Hope this helps.

    Yeah that works too. Some people are a bit wary of newspaper just because of the ink can be toxic if your bird goes down there.

    @@mimisbirdhouse Yes. Ink used to have lead which is definitely toxic to not just animals but people too. I've used newspapers with my bunnies for 10 years now and I've had no problem with them. I've also been using it for my birds for a year and a half and I have also seen no problems with it. Most ink now is soy oil which seems to be fine to use. Paper towel has been fine for me as well. Don't use it with chicks though as paper towel is toxic for them.

    Thats amazing I wish you all the best! Feel free to contact if you have questions or need help ☺️ Every quaker will have treat preferences, nutriberries, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, pistachios, almonds all good options in moderation ☺️ As bedding quakers are natural all year round nesting birds. So id try for a seagrass hut, avoid anything with cotton or polyester but if they start to become hormonal or territorial over it take it away, most people rather just have them sleep on a perch to avoid the risk

    Good video Mimi! i have a question for you can you use vinegar at full strength to clean a bird cage or would that not be good for the bird reason i ask is the bird cage has been getting ants climbing up it's cage trying to find something safe for the birds and also getting riad of them ants!💖👍😎JP

    As far as door knobs go I fold up a rag longways and hang it over the knob because my conure likes to sit on top of the door while I take a shower. I found that's easier cuz it's kind of a pain trying to clean the door knob.Then on laundry day I soak it in the basement sink in hot water and rinse off the big chunks and throw the rag in with my work clothes. Just another tip. 😊

    It's been a while 😊 great video as always I use newspaper under the window where they spent more time and we have tile floor so it isn't hard to clean the room 😅 Actually i am worried about one thing that is, now summer is comming and my birds don't like to eat in summers they don't became unactive but they eat less and less in hotter days Is there a way i can make them eat and since their food bowls are at the window so the sun will hit the spot directly too ( they love eating by watching outside of the window ) Plz share your thoughts on this

  • @mimisbirdhouse

    @mimisbirdhouse

    Try and put the food where the sun isnt hitting as that can cause it to go bad and definitely make them eat less. You can try angling the cage so its behind a curtain but they can still see outside if that makes sense. Sometimes in the summer people even give them their veggies a bit frozen

    @@mimisbirdhouse ohh actually they don't use cage to eat i just have their food bowl on window and some natural diy pearches, they don't like their cage that much only for sleeping As for the food i constantly check it, if it isn't good anymore i change it But i faced this problem before i switch them to their room ( current ), at the room they stayed before, it was not even hot and no direct sunlight they didn't like to eat in hot days
