How to clean ATV motor | Remove mud stains - MUST SEE

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Today i try a product by Napa (Mac's) called "Aluminum Brightner". This stuff works and is no joke. Do NOT leave on motor for more than 20 seconds and rinse off immediately after that to insure product is diluted well. Make sure to wear proper safety gear (ie Eye, hands & mouth) protection at all times when using. Do NOT use this on painted surfaces or shiney aluminum surfaces. This product works best and safest on "Cast aluminum" with NO finish or polish. to get tougher stains you may need to carefully use a brush to agitate surface lightly and use several coats and rinse repeatedly. After using product and happy with results (I recommend running motor in a well ventilated area) unit motor is completely dry and all possible resiude is evaporated off.
Read directions on product carefully before using and all the dangers of product as i am NOT responsible for misuse of this product.

Reminds me of condensing coil cleaner for ac unit. It reacts with aluminum then, foams, lifts off dirt leaving shiny.

@@shredder_mang3211 What is a good all purpose cleaner to use on ATVs, motorycles, etc? I just got an 88 Yamaha Moto 4 350 last week and slowly going through it fixing some stuff up and cleaning it real good. Did the same thing with an old XJ650 I have so I already have tons of brushes but never really know what's the best thing to use to clean? Looking for something that I can use on mostly everything.. metal, plastic, engine, rubber, etc. I actually started using WD-40 for some stuff and it seems to work pretty good but not sure how much it's gonna hold dirt and gunk once it gets riddin. As crazy as it sounds when I was sitting on the ground for hours over a few nights cleaning my motorcycle engine.. after using WD40 and some other stuff for a while I tried windex and it worked wayyyyy bettery. Obv I know it's horrible to use on that kind of stuff hence the need for a GOOD cleaner for old gunked up dirty stuff and then how to protect afterward?
