Pan, is there anything that will minimize the creases on the sides of the leather seats? Both front seats on the side next to the doors have creases on them.

I think a better way to go would be to use an Upholstery" brush. This is a vacuum attachment that has bristles on the end. Just like the ones used on regular house vacuums.

Hiya Pan, another great video. My next new car is coming with leather seats so it was great you talked about the ceramic coating. I am looking at the C Quartz but didn't know they did a dedicated leather coating, do now!!! Also thanks for the info about maintenance washes for the seats/dash etc. 3:1 ratio for cleaning solution...will make a more of that 👩‍🔬👩‍🔬. New ways of cleaning but very few tips on maintenance well done sir. Looking forward to your next instalment!!!!

Hey Pan, love your videos, just got a friend from work hook on your channel. Quick question, if I'm not coating the leather, is there a protection product that you like to use? Is 303 protection good?

3:55 only a tip that comes from experience. Would’ve never thought to sand the edge of the vacuum cleaner nozzle but hearing him say it instantly makes sense

Another great video - informative and instructional. The advice re gloves is terrific - if you're handling anything chemical, treat it as toxic. (I can tell horror stories about people who didn't.) The list of products is also invaluable.

Hey Pan. Very informative video. Thank you for all the help. Last year I bought a brand new car, and I paid a detailer to apply ceramic coating on the leather. Unfortunately he applied too much coating and didn’t remove the excess. Some spots on the seats are more shiny than it was supposed, looking like it is dirty. Is there any technique to remove this shiny? Or the only solution is to dye the leather? Thank you man. Greetings from Brazil.

I must've specified that it is exactly what I was looking for my 2018 RS3 to give back the feel & texture for my driving seat after 3 years and the "Colourlock" brand seems to be the right set as I trust your judgement. A thing I wasn’t too sure about was how to really clean them. I also wanted to protect my leather interior from cracking as well. Thanks.

En général, la même méthode que pour les cuirs réels s'applique. Car la surface a un revêtement similaire au vernis de la carrosserie dans les deux cas.

Merci J'ai seulement découvert tes videos il y a quelques mois (recommandation dun ami) suite à l'achat d'un nouveau véhicule que je désire bien entretenir. J'étais plus un gars de 1/4 mile & performance il y a quelques années, mais l'esthétique m'a toujours intéressé. Je trouve tes vidéos excellents et tu es très professionnel. Mon portefeuille t'aime un peu moins par contre 😉.

nice one! one tip we use is to take a bit of kamikaze masking tape around the edges of the crevice tool which protects leather & plastic from any potential marring :)

I never tried those products.

Just did this process last weekend with the P&S Interior Cleaner and Colourlock. Bought both on your recommendation over the last year! Now you’ve got me wondering if I should go the ceramic coating route...

Both are excellent. Coatings are great if you want 10-12 months of protection, but the Colourlock works wonders too you just need to reapply every three months. I love both methods.

Thanks! They not only look great and feel great with that high quality nappa leather, but they are soooooo comfortable! I had to get that option when I bought my BMW. I guess that's why they call them the "comfort seats". :)

Pan, I love the channel! I just found it a week ago after buying a new car. So I’ve been watching several of your washing and detailing videos and just stocked up on all of the recommended cleaning supplies. My Dodge Challenger has the houndstooth fabric upholstery and I’d like to either get either some high quality, leather seat covers or replace the existing upholstery with leather. I’ve heard some good things about Katskin as a replacement for the existing cloth seats. Do you have any thoughts on leather seats or seat cover options?

Love your videos its helped me greatly. Question though, are the same methods ok for vinyl dashboard and vinyl steering wheel both of which have stitching?

Hi Pan. Thanks for everything you do for the community. Quick Q: What product(s) would you recommend someone use on a top grain leather sofa? I know it isn't a car interior.. but I figured the shape of furniture shouldn't matter so much...? I read Leather 2.0 is only good on finished leather.. and I don't think top grain would qualify.. (purchased the Positano leather sofa from costco in grey) THANKS!

My daily... Acura TSX needs a good interior cleaning! black leather. This may push Me to do it this weekend. Thanks for another great video, Paaaaaan! :)

Wow looks really nice. What would you recommend how to ceramic coat a new car leather seat, do I still have to use the gyeon cleaner?

Pan I just wanted to thank you for your professional and thorough videos. I was curious if you suggest using a ceramic leather coating as well as a conditioner? I have a 2018 vehicle with less than 18,000 on the odometer and wanted to get the spring cleaning started while the weather starts to clear up. Again, really appreciate all of your videos and keep it tight and clean!!

You don't need conditioners one new leather. And certainly don't use a conditioner before applying a leather ceramic coating, you would prevent proper bonding of the coating. Just clean and apply the coating as per this video, or the instructions of the coating you purchased. New leather from the factory has a clear coat on it, a plastic transparent protection almost like the paint on your car. So conditioners don't penetrate that. Hence why we simply want to protect the leather from UV rays, friction damage, dye transfer and make them easier to clean if you get any liquid spills by making the leather hydrophobic. I hope this helps!

@@PanTheOrganizer Hey Pan, would you say this applies to older cars as well? My car is from 2009. I’m trying to decide if using a conditioner instead of a ceramic coating would be better for preventing things like cracking, and extend longevity of the leather.

Thank you for the video Pan. This video popped up just in time. I am going to protect my leather seats on my new X5. I have already purchased Gyeon Leather Shield and this video is perfect! Question: Will the Leather Shield protect/ condition the leather or do I need to condition the leather prior to applying the ceramic coating? Thank you again for this and all your videos!

Conditioners aren't needed on new modern leather. They don't penetrate the plastic clear coat that lies on top of the leather. So it's best to clean it, and protect it from dye transfer, UV rays, fading, friction damage, etc. Like in this tutorial. @@PanTheOrganizer I did go through both of the videos. But if you look at the perforated seats, the leather is not coated in the holes. Does it make sense to condition that leather or the shield is enough? I really want to protect the seats the best I can... :)

Thanks for the awesome video Pan! I have the same seats in black. Love them but I don’t like that the inside of the perforated holes is not painted.. looks the same on yours. Do you have sensatec on your dashboard? Would you also use gyeon leather shield on that or something else?

No my dash is the normal BMW rubberized plastic.

Great video! I've got a half leather and half fabric seats. It's a hustle to clean.
