    Superb mate, by pure chance I was looking for a basic video on carb cleaning ( I'm not a mechanic btw) and it turns out your stripping almost exactly the carb I have ( 250 Kawasaki klf) this was exactly what I needed to see. I was sitting stripping an old carb from a 50cc pitbike ( it was wrecked so it didn't matter if I did any damage). But by pure fluke you've shown me the exact carb....cheers mate.

    A great trick I've found is to soak everything in seafoam for about an hour. It breaks up stuff even carb & choke cleaner doesn't

    can you use brake cleaner instead of carb cleaner

  • @WeekendHandymen

    @WeekendHandymen

    +Andrew Skoke Brake cleaner is very harsh on plastic components and gaskets. Use carb cleaner if you don't plan on replacing your gaskets, floats, and anything else plastic on the carb.
